We have two strikers already on our books who have yet to be given an opportunity. And as MG has himself admitted our main problem has been in not creating chances.
Even with Sam Hatton we still only have 2 centre midfielders. We will need at least another to keep him and Waldren on their toes and step in for the inevitable injuries and suspensions.

Sorry Mark...I think it does concern us.....or it certainly should....when one of your best players goes 2 games into the season when on contract to a club with allegedly little money then what are we doing?
Last year there was talk of him going to a league club....now he goes to a team most think will struggle
He was on contract...why would we do that?
If we do it then as usual we should get decent money but I guess again we have gone cheap!....What is the pojnt of ever giving anyone a contract....they go when they feel like it and of we do we cannot get rid of deadwood
You may say that he didnt want to be with us...maybe but most clubs would say ok you can go but when we get the right bid!

He did not demand a transfer. Mark Goldberg wanted to release him from the budget to be able to bring in Walker. I would be amazed if Welling got any sort of fee.
