Not sure there is much given their relative experience Jody Brown could advise MG on except possibly one thing. You may not share the same opinions as the support about certain players but if you don't and move them on you had better make sure the replacements are at least as good and prepared to put the same effort level in otherwise your honeymoon period goes straight to zero.
You'd have to be a complete mug to believe this is how MG is wanting this to turn out, given there is only so much extra revenue you can generate from non-football related business in the short term, so to make the other ideas work you need to provide a reasonably attractive package on the pitch. You can look at this two ways, it is all going to hell in a handcart and believe this set up is not going to work or look at it as an early opportunity to see how this regime are going to deal with things if they don't go to plan. I am currently looking at it as the second, although I will freely admit it has come a lot sooner than I anticipated (which may in the long term not prove a bad thing.)
As for the current situation there can only be one place to put the blame and that is with the management, it's totally their team, their tactics, training regime etc. But I also believe they are as disappointed as anyone with the matches so far. It is refreshing that MG gives an honest post match interview & I'll certainly continue to give him my support, for a while.
