Cant help but feel what is the point of the KSC apart from giving players a run out...80 people turned up...must have cost more to turn on the lights
I've never liked the way we have treated both the Kent and London Senior Cups and hopefully under MG our approach to these competitions has now changed. It's a great way of introducing youngsters, trialists and those not making the 11. Winning games and scoring goals breeds confidence.
For the home games in these competitions why does n't the club slash the admission to £5? It may even attract a few newbees.

Think the last time KSC was taken seriously was under Andy Ford when we won the final. If my failing memory is right there were over 900 at that match.
Certainly a risk playing key players, but success breeds success, so playing a strong team, including some fringe players from the 1st team squad, would be the best way of developing that winning mentality throughout the team. I also think that actually playing is a good training workout.
Itis a risk game where we could lose important players to a pointless trophy
Yes if it kids and reserves but not 1st team squad
Players get injured in training too, so are we going to stop training as well!
Was having this sort of discussion at Merthyr about Paul Gorman and his 'training' regime.... about 15 minutes before he broke his leg and was never the same again. Sh1t happens!
