Add determination, heart, will to win and respect for the shirt to the quality and that's what will win games.

1-1 half time. Better build up play and passing.

What a shock that we lost sarc/I guess a clear out of the backroom staff or a few new players will happen.....MG is great at the off field stuff but needs to step aside and get a new manager in

If you change everything else and the results are still the same you are running very short of other conclusions to draw....

Well, what can anyone say about yet another loss?

A whole new set of players were brought in - but we loose

A number of player changes were made - but we loose

Changes were made to the backroom staff - but we loose

But the 1st team Manager has been constant - and we loose

It does actually take some doing to be second bottom of this league allegedly on a larger budget than we were second bottom of the league above a year ago.

Have you spoken to him? He is very approachable and I spoke to him after the game and he was very honest about his plans with regards to the coaching staff. I just wish a few people would do the same instead of moaning on here, without finding out what is actually going on.

we are still not winning games-I was in he Belvedere stand so didnt get the chance to chat with him like you do. I dont normally moan and do enjoy the attacking options(missing last year) of late but we cant keep letting other teams snatch goals against the run of play. We have got to get it together. MG seems a decent man but the buck has to stop with the man who picks the team and that is MG.

I havent spoken to him myself but surely things need to change? We are heading towards relegation and if Jody Brown was in charge he would bd on the receiving end of a lot of justified abuse. Why is MG getting a free pass when we r looking awful?

He's not getting a free pass. Things are not good which he does accept. I stand behind the goal but always go and have a chat after a game in the upstairs bar. My issue is that a lot of people are quick to come on here and moan that he's not doing x y or z but a simply chat would show you the things he is trying to do.

What he is doing isn't working though. Any failing manager in any league would say what is needed but  it is what happens on the pitch that counts.....

Maybe if he or someone else on the coaching side could be bothered to write a piece for the matchday programme we might all be a bit more the wiser.

It feels like groundhog day at PVR at the moment. Played ok on Saturday (certainly better than Whitehawk take one) but still came out with nothing. My son called it at half time - "Welling will have some spells of pressure....then one piece of s**t defending in the 85th minute and we will lose 2-1...." (well he was only one minute out!)

I really think that MG needs to look at the formation. I know he is a 4-4-2 man through and through but that is not working and clearly needs to change. Our best striker/finisher is moving wide, crossing the ball and there is maybe one player to hit in the box. Some of the crosses were poor on Saturday but some were decent but there was nobody there to capitalise. We need more bodies in the area so that the crossing doesn't have to be inch perfect every time. I have said more than once on here that Hatton is not a wide player (and nor his Waldren when they shunt him out there) but he/they could play in a three. Nanetti and LDV can both play wide and Coombes should be told to play between the width of the penalty area. One positive from Saturday was Nanetti who gave a good account of himself after a month with no football at all but he is not an out and out centre forward?! Of course all of this is immaterial until someone sorts out the other end of the pitch and the shoddy goals we keep conceding. If we get beaten by a good team goal or a cracking strike into the top corner then fair play to the opposition...however I can't remember the last time we conceded a goal which, in some part, was not down to poor defending.....

Sadly my rant about musical instruments fell on deaf ears. This week I will turn my attention to the programme. £ 2.50 for that garbage on Saturday is ridiculous. No manager's comments at all. I can't remember the last time we had any comments (verbal or written) from our "captain..." and absolutely nothing on the commercial front. I sponsored two players at the beginning of the season (which the previous commercial manager sorted out for me) at some cost. One player is on loan at Lewes, the other signed for Braintree. I was told that someone would be in touch about this.......have they f***.

I am starting to think that the football side of this grand project is getting less important week on week and that has to be a concern....
