A solid performance today. Thought we battled well and ground out a good result. A superb strike from George Oakley sealed it late on.
Was good to see Mr Pennock after the game and have a good chat. He's already highlighted a few places where the team can improve and hopefully the things that him, Harry and Daisy will be putting in place will push us further up the table.
2 wins in a row has to give the team some confidence when the league games start again next week.

Jamison I've not seen your praise on this thread about yesterday's win.
But I've seen your criticism on last weeks Hampton & Richmond thread quite rightly so by the way.
Well done to Mr day & co plus the squad for yesterday's win.
Individuals choice as & when they post.
I don't need to read your 2 bob comments having a go at other fans on this forum.

Well i praised the players and management team myself yesterday, on what was a good performance and some of the best football we have played this season in terms of actually being able to pass the ball.
I was more referring to the 'ghost' posters who seem to crop up when we lose 10mins after the final whistle then go missing until the next thing to moan about rather than regular posters, but hey ho.

A good result, clean sheet and a few quid in the bank - all positives to take from the weekend. Not going to go too overboard just yet but hopefully this will instill some confidence into the squad.
Concord are much improved from the team we beat so comfortably at the beginning of September - fifth in the form table and 18 goals in their last 6 league games and yet we limited them to next to nothing on Saturday. I would still like our defenders to be a bit stronger and "nastier" in truth - hardly a yellow card between the two centre backs all season....Hatton was much improved on what I have seen of late - he takes a very good set piece (which we need to make more of) but still needs to contribute more in general play. Not sure Walker is a wide left player but he is a threat with his pace so I hope his injury is nothing too serious. I haven't seen enough of Crawford yet but I have to commend his workrate after nearly three months with no football - he also provided the highlight of the day for me when he nearly took their gobby manager out after kicking a stray ball off the pitch!
Lots for the new regime to work on but a (small) step in the right direction. We know that Daisy will get them organised and hopefully working better as a unit.
2 good wins and players coming back from injury. I hope Dan Walker's injury isn't too bad. I hope the good form continues Saturday and we have a better second half of the season.
