There is obviously something about him, and scoring 9 goals in a team bottom of the league is actually quite a achievement if the team aren't creating chances. Working with better players he might score more. Daisy has a good record when it comes to picking up this sort of player.
Sorry how prolific has he been this season Fisher are bottom of the Kent league !!!
What a welcome. If you've been watching the past few years then you'll know we've fell well short in this area. I'll trust Jamie Day on this one rather than the league he was in. Remember where Roscoe came from?
There's a striker called Adam Coombes who has scored 10 goals in 15 league games (17 in 19 all competitions) yet his team are third from bottom in their league!
I would imagine this is a punt the may or may not work but Jamie and the lad himself should at least get our support!
There are plenty of rough diamonds turning out in the lower leagues - our opponents on Saturday have a striker who is drawing plenty of attention from higher up the pyramid and lest we forget that Danny Kedwell (and others) came to Welling from a much lower level and he didn't turn out to be too bad!
To me Coombes is a striker and we need a forward who can chip in with assists - he doesn't have to be prolific to make an impact.
Players like Morgan, Tash, Porter, St Aimie, Hughes-Mason etc. haven't done the job for us in this area so maybe the player will?
Not all about goals when Coombes is banging them in.
To be fair I agree with many players that are on your list but I think personally Hughes-Mason shouldn't be on their, during his time at PVR I thought he did every well for us and stepped up when we needed him to supply goals to Ross and ge goals of his own also I could name a number of game when he had made an impact for us.
Hughes - Mason did very well in the Blue Sq South Title Winning Team, contributed plenty to the team. He just didn't seem to get going once we got promoted, no idea why. The others on this list either did nothing or very little so a bit unfair.
I suppose a bit unfair as Hughes-Mason didn't get that many chances from what I remember?
I like Oakley but that's only a loan deal. If we have Walker, Crawford plus Dubois (when not injured) then we could be quite attacking depending on Jamie Day's plans on formation.

10 from 15 in the league or 23 from 20 in all competitions when accounting for the 4 he got against Erith Town.
Coombes has turned down some huge deals over the last few months. Shows it's not all about the money. I think he would be mad to go unless a top 10 conference premier side comes in for him. He is on 26 goals and he could easily to get 40-45. If he stays here he will be playing every week and if he keeps scoring goals he will have trials galore offered to him next pre season by league clubs.
