Let's hope so, I fancy a nice little trip to Leiston than going to Bromley for which seems too many times.

I don't think we've ever played another side from Suffolk.

So. 100% record then, of both wins & defeats!

Agreed that we don't particularly want Bromley though.

Didn't we have a pre-season mini tour in Suffolk when Paul Parker was manager.

We played at Lowestoft on a Friday night pre-season (can't remember the score, but I think we won).  We were due to play at Wroxham the following day but it was called off well before the day.

We won 7-1 I recall.

If you think the Wednesday before is "well before" those of us who had booked travel and accommodation will politely disagree. We (stupidly) played E&B&Q on the Tuesday; they had several ex-Wings and kicked us off the park, Brian Stalham carried off with a broken leg and Tim Hambley breaking his hand.

Well at least the Bromley game is still a month away, time to climb out of the relegation zone and have a fully motivated, dedicated squad ..............  or not!?

Does anyone know if Coombes would be able to play against Bromley?   Just curious if there was any clause in the contract !?

Well,  It's just that he came to Welling from Bromley and they might have put something in the contract.  Don't you sometimes get these sort of things in the Premier League when they move from one club to another ?  Or is it only when they are on loan ?

I thought he was picked up as a free agent.

Only on loan deals does that rule come into play.
