The Margate supporters on the road and park end terraces were superb today - cheering their team on in the pouring rain despite the scoreline. I am proud of the Wings supporters, but today I was also proud of our opposition's fans.

As much as I agree with you can to be fair to them they are very good supporters considering what's going on with them at there club but I think today they was just happy to score and to get their first goal in either 8 or 9 games whatever it is.
For those who do not read the conference south forum you may be interested to know that the head steward at Margate complimented our supporters on Facebook after the Boxing Day fixture. Said our travelling support were a pleasure to steward.

Good for her. I hope they all continue to get behind the team!!
We have been through our fair share of bad times on the pitch recently so yes respect to the Margate fans for the support of their team, also respect to our singing fans who got totally behind the team today which was encouraged by the good performance of the football being played on the pitch.
