We never saw much of George due to his injury so mot sure how good he could/would have been. However George Oakley was a good asset and will be missed. Hopefully PJD or Dan Walker can fill the void.

Oakley was certainly a lad that gave 100% week in week out in an unfamiliar role and the loan was of mutual benefit to us and AFC Wimbledon. We have Walker, PJD, Nanetti and Johnson who can play the wide positions.
Allen has clearly suffered with injuries but, if he wasn't going to challenge and/or displace the current centre halves, then it is probably best that he departs for pastures new.
Maybe we can get a better balance to the squad by bringing a couple of players in although that may have to wait until the managerial position is finalised.
