Thamesmead has signed a five year deal to share Princes Park with Dartford.  And guess who is moving into their Bayliss Avenue ground - Welling Town who play in the Kent County league division 3 (west) err, together with Sporting Club Thamesmead and Charlton Women. Welling town are sponsored by Danson Property Services - sounds familiar!

Did not realise that our Kev is also chairman of Welling Town - I thought his firm just sponsored them. Quite an ambitious move but, who knows, it was not quite so long ago that the Wings played at Butterfly Lane.  One thing that puzzles me though is the club crest which features two crossed, flintlock, pistols as an obvious reference to the area's highwaymen past - and yet the club's nickname is "the boots" not "the highwaymen".
