Cheers DaveC. After I just asked on twitter for the club to clarify, they have just posted about him signing! Also they have confirmed Joey Taylor has left the club.

Four goals conceded in the last 15 minutes. Incredible collapse. If nothing else, they must restore some pride in themselves on Saturday. Relegation battle well and truly on - Gosport beat Bath today. Time to sort it out, MG, or we will be in the Ryman (or whatever it will be) very soon if this dismal slide continues.

Look on the bright side, it was only the third biggest defeat of the evening...

That would not have been a very nice three and a half hour minimum drive home after that!

Some comical defending throughout the match, not just from us to be honest.

Last 15 mins was a joke. Before that the game was well within our reach.

PJD looked lively when he came on and actually looked like he gave half a ****, unlike the majority of the "players" who skulked off down the tunnel at FT without acknowledging the fans.

The atmosphere is toxic at the club at the moment and something needs to change ASAP.

Cathline? Hmm.

Always on the back foot. Only ever woke up when we went behind. To be fair, pretty close to being 4-4 at one point. Eastbourne played very strange systems - almost as if their mid table position allowed them to experiment at times. We had a lot of luck down the right, but they tightened up in the second half. Some good goals from Eastbourne, we scrambled a few in. It was comic relief at times. Felt for Lewington - exposed. No support.

Anyone got the number for the League Against Cruel Sports?

At half-time, we thought ah, second equaliser, good platform to build on. We get it to 3-3 and we thought great, kick on, their heads will go down. What followed at the back was foot shooting of the highest order.

Heard some names bandied around as new manager for next season but they're wasting their time while MG maintains his constant interest in on field matters.

It is very worrying for sure. We clearly missed Fish and Francis last night but that is no excuse to concede 4 in the closing minutes. MG clearly still in charge of player recruitment but he needs to appoint a permanent manager asap and give them a free reign for all on pitch matters. Sadly I cannot see it happening.

From the relative comfort we felt after beating Poole 10 days ago we now find ourselves, uncomfortabley, just 5 points above the relegation zone after our two defeats and Gosports couple of wins. Gosport have quite a favourable run in on paper and seem to have found some momentum when they looked down and out.

So we need at least a win, probably two, from our remaining 7 matches. Whatever points are required our lads need to show more heart, more passion, more will. This was a very winnable game against an Eastbourne team with little to play for. Suddenly from looking steady at the back but toothless upfront injuries at the back have exposed us. The only positive was PJD who took his goal well. For me he is a natural centre forward, an instinctive goalscorer. He just needs to stay fit. But at the back  at least one new centre half is required,  possibly two. Playing Danny Waldron back there is a terrible waste.

We need to show some bulls on Saturday against Hungerford.

We basically played with 10 men in last 15 mins...hayles could hardly move due to injury and we already had waldren at center back.

Poor management not subbing him, just because he wants to play amd soldier on does not meam he should, although its shows his commitment its also gone a long way in costing us the game.

For 60 mins we were the better team, just typical of our season really.

Out of the players i said would keep 4 of them acknowledge fans, and another 2 i spoke to after and were just so pissed off and embarrassed they stormed off. Rest walked off like it was just another wage packet no matter the result.

New lad looked ok but must be already wondering what hes walked into.

Get Waldren (captain) and Lewington on contract for next season. Anyone else who wants a sniff of a contract has to come off at the end of the next 7 games spewing their guts up after giving 200%.

Could not agree more.

This is exactly the stance they should take.

The trap door down to obscurity is looming below us again, the 5 point cushion could soon shrink so however p***ed off we may be we need to keep the support going.

Along the same lines the key players need to be offered good contracts to demonstrate MG's confidence that we'll still be in this league next season. If, and I stress the if, a new manager is ready to take over he can be consulted on the contractS & key players.

I agree that he is very honest in his interviews but he says the same thing every week and has done absolutely jack s**t about it?!

If the same people are not doing the same things week in week out then the management need to do something about it and/or change things around and the current pair can't/won't do that.

And playing an already injured centre half and risking making said injury a whole lot worse when you still have two substitutions available is just plain stupid.

Interview link here. We are in even bigger trouble given he is questioning certain players characters and one texting he is injured when it appears he was not. MG needs to get this lot in a room and give them the Fergie hairdryer treatment.

MR Goldberg said he's learnt from his mistakes at the meeting, but he clearly hasn't. It's been terrible since the start of season and only when Jamie came in the players responded, regarding the interview again it's been said before the players are taking the piss out of this duo.

Wow. Genuinely the best interview I've ever seen. I wish all managers everywhere was as honest.
