The Transport Secretary has put forward a suggestion/proposal that from next year all trains on the Bexleyheath and Woolwich lines to London could terminate at Cannon Street meaning no direct services to Charing Cross, Waterloo East or Victoria. As well as making commuting more difficult, it would also make getting to certain Welling away games more complicated.

Unfortunately, at a time when the number of signatories has been rising very rapidly, the petition has now been closed as it is time expired.
Hopefully the 28,678 people who have signed will have persuaded the powers-that-be that this suggestion is not one that will go down well if implemented.
