Here goes, im banking on some of the more sensible wwings fans joining in here with the away fans. Hopefully someone will post latest scores in here and the game can be discussed.
Hard game for us, ambition and results have took a dive , play offs look gone. Sitting ducks for the muff? Hope not, we shall see.
Wings 1 Weymouth 2 for me.

Could not get there today, but wonder if anyone could tell me :-
Did we play well or were the Muff rubbish?
Did we deserve to win?
Were we sitting back and hanging on a has been our trait after going ahead recently?
Fantastic result today which gives us a real chance of sneaking back into the play offs. Big Big game at Lewes next week. Just noticed that the Muff have lost top spot as well. What odds on them completely blowing it an not getting promoted? Bet there Bank Manager is getting a bit of a squeaky bum!
What an atmosphere and what a match. PVR really came to life today for the first time in many a year - the support was like that reserved for Cup Ties against League opposition. For those Muff supporters who were chanting its your Cup Final before we scored all I can say is thank you very much for the 3 points.
A truly competitive match with very little to choose between the sides. Thankfully Nade, who in my view was their most dangerous player and who the Muff seemed to be relying on, was frustrated time and time again. I'm not sure quite what went on between Nade and Gledhill on about 55mins but I suspect that the frustration of Nade and the physical gameplay of Gleds just reached the point where the blue touch paper was lit. Thankfully, having consulted the Assistant (who had come on to the field of play), the Referee (who didn't see the incident) applied some common sense and did not resort to his book but gave them both a talking to.
Its hard to be critical when you've just beaten the now deposed League leaders but there were several occasions when Muff attacked down their right hand side and got opportunities which they should not have had.
Not for the first time this season JT was the difference between the 2 sides, making at least 3 match winning saves.
Looks like this season rather than relegation going to the wire it will be entry into the play offs (which I still believe we can make).
As an aside, a Muff supporter I spoke to felt that they might well blow it again this season. I'm not sure about that as there are many sides I have seen at PVR this season who will not frustrate Nade in the way he was frustrated today.
More of the same in the run in please.

I would be hard pushed to nominate a man of the match yesterday. I think Perkins was excellent up front, Kedwell great as usual and Turner had one of his best games. Every man jack of them played damned brilliantly.
On a different note, I thought the ref had a very good game. He may have missed a couple of things but all in all he was the best I've seen this season. I certainly wish we had him every week.
The lino's let him down though. I counted at least 6 wrong offside decisions for both sides.
Is it just me or does anyone else think that Keds is playing with an ongoing niggly injury? He just seems to be lacking in pace compared to the start of the season, particularly late in the game. It doesn't look like a stamina problem and it certainly isn't a lack of desire.

I believe there is a very famous Sunday League team in Thanet made from semi-pros that have made the area final.
Must be knackering if you're playing when you're not supposed to be.
