Ian Gayle is one of the signings. He was on loan to us I believe from Dagenham when we were in our final year in the conference. Decent player from what I remember. Alfie Pavey is someone we almost had on loan last year. Been on loan a bit from Millwall but hopefully he can get settled at Welling.
Well done to all involved on the signings. Anyone else a bit optimistic about this season...??

That was my thought too, but Tristan Lewis last night suggested that a striker was likely to go out on loan.
To me now it's all about getting bloody serious in Pre-season. Let's be ready to go by the time the real stuff starts. The writing was on the wall last year when we were thrashed by Charlton, Maidstone and Bromley. I don't want to see that again PSF or not. From game one we need to be at it. I don't want to hear the phrase " it's early days. We'll see how it is after 10 games" bull****.
