HELP NEEDED FOR WORK AT THE GROUND

Hi one and all, Gary Leman and Danny Kibble are in need of assistance for groundwork on Saturday and Sunday 9th and 10th June from 10.00 a.m.

The main work will be on the new stand toilet block including painting and slight repair. This is very important as it is our only disabled accessible facility.

Is it Welling's when it needs work doing then and Erith's at all other times? Wouldn't hurt the squatters actually spending a penny rather than poncing and opening their bar and tea bar on match days. They spend and contribute absolutely nothing? No rent, no pitch upkeep or ground upkeep?

Absolutely! Why they just don't Feck off and go and play in the park I'll never know. They're pretty much a pub team these days anyway. Why don't Welling United go all the way and decorate their bar and changing rooms as well?

Think there may be a lease agreement

As I recall the money they got for their old ground, from the developers, paid for all the buildings on that side of the ground, doing away with the old cow shed, in the process. They now have rights as sub-tenants until the main lease expires.

Also worth remembering that without the development the ground would probably be below National League standards so playoffs and promotions even more of a pipe dream.
