My wife was listening to the radio (Radio 4 of 5 Live) and they said one of the reasons the England team is doing well is because they have the benefit of Non-league experience which helps them keep things in perspective. They listed non-league teams this included and they mentioned WUFC. I cant think of a link - can anyone tell me. I know there have been links in the past with the World Cup but cant think of the link with the current squad.
Other past World Cup links (not related to Russia) would be our former manager Paul Parker. Previous World Cup players I've seen play at PVR include Edgar Davids, Glenn Hoddle, Tony Adams, Ray Parlour, Colin Hendry, Steve Finnan. Probably more, some in friendlies and some in league/cup matches.

Andy Townsend??
He always seems to forget he played for us, so therefore should be wiped from anything to do with us.
