As the older supporters have more time to spend gathering information before placing their predictions, perhaps a point or two deduction would be in order to make it fairer for us workers?!
A nice try though!
PS I'm in too by the way!
Whilst writing, I might as well tell you my thoughts on this years rules.
Firstly, as some people missed the cut-off time of an hour before kick-off, it would probably be easier (and save me having to check times) to allow predictions right up until kick-off.
Secondly, as trialled during the Fantasy World Cup, I suggest that more emphasis is put on the getting the right result. Therefore, with this in mind, these are the points I was thinking of using for correctly predicting the following:-
Result - 3 points Welling goals - 2 points Opponents goals - 2 points First goalscorer - 2 points Any other goalscorer - 1 point
Also, I was thinking of running maybe a couple or three cup competitions throughout the season as well to try and have a bit more enjoyment plus hopefully keep more people interested throughout the season. So to get each result I'll just use each persons scores from each of the weeks that it runs. However, if say it's a draw, then the person who placed their prediction earliest of the two would go through. What does everyone think of this idea, but as usual it does seem ok in theory?!
Finally, if anyone can show me how to post an Excel spreadsheet onto here it would definitely be a great help.
Cheers

Agree with MWTB.......its your game so I'll go along with what you propose......but I did enjoy seeing people (including myself) missing out on posting their scores in time by 2 minutes and having a good shout voided !!!!
