Lewes or Farnborough particularly catches the eye!

A nice home draw against a lower league would be nice. Away for me anywhere easy by public transport providing Smudge friendly. No no would be Plymouth Parkway away -far to far to go at such short notice. However with our luck I will predict Woking away.

Chelmsford. So we can have another 210 minutes of tedious slugfest before going out on penalties....

Is the correct answer. Bigger money than ever available in the FA Cup this season.

No they aren't. They have been drawn at home to Erith Town.

So we are playing a team 1 league below us who's league record is played 6, won 0, drawn 1, lost 5 with 2 goals scored and 14 conceded.

May as well book the train to Woking on the next round date now lol.

Well i think I got the rounds mixed up but I was actually referring to the fact that we play Woking in the league on the next round date...

So haringey and our record in cups was firmly in mind

We have seen in the past we have come up against lower league teams not just last season but I remember going to East Thurock a while ago before they came up. I felt then that the Welling team mentality was we just turn up and it is all over. Trouble was it was - for us. This year under Steve King I am more confident. With his experience I hope we can get a reasonable run in the cup. This year the prize money has doubled the next 3 rounds the winner gets £9k, £15k and £35k. Unlike certain other clubs our chairman is not a sugar daddy as people seem to think so this prize money would go a long way in helping run the club.

Woking away is on first round proper day in November.

I hope we are still in the cup then but that is three wins away!
