A good match, won in the first half by some great play. I thought we made a few silly mistakes in the second half, but got away with it. Penalty save was an unfortunate twist, but their keeper was, I thought, their best player, so perhaps deserved the luck of diving the right way.

Once again it was hard to find any weak links. We huffed and puffed a bit at times overplaying it but we also played some good stuff. Really pleased overall. We have some good players this year theres no doubt about that. For god sake lets hope Mills gets a goal soon he bloody deserves one. His part in our second goal was supberb. We also have the worse player in the league. Our number 11 was ****e again today and if I was any other team in this league or above I wouldnt touch him with a barge pole. Lol

Been a while since weve seen some genuine exciting football on a regular basis. We also had a few players in with a shout of man of the match so that speaks for itself. Wilks had another clean sheet and pulled off some good saves but his positioning is brilliant. Kiernan, Mills, LGhoul all quality today and steady elsewhere - and we have a decent bench. Happy days

I genuinely think (Concord apart) we havent got to the top of our game yet. There are flashes here and there but Im waiting for that complete.... ish performance. Our useless number 11 needs to improve. Some of his footwork and control were absolutely shocking today. Our number 7 wasnt much better. Buck your ideas up the pair of you. Lol

I thought there were skills out there today which deserved a higher league and bigger audience.

Nice play particularly from Kiernan and L'Ghoul. Great to Kissock back as well - I like him. He's a very busy player

Enjoyed the game, created loads of chances and defended well. Hopefully Mills will score soon, he played very well and deserves a goal!
I don't think Bradley will want to see a reply of the penalty though!!

My sat nav screwed up on the way to Ricky before the tunnel at 215 so I had to abandon so I went to your game.
You look impressive with some very good players. Thought your no7 was exceptional.
At start of season I said youd not get into playoffs, I believe Im wrong and after seeing that performance you must be right up there.
Woking and Ricky will be tough to pass but you got to be looking at the best of the rest at least.

dfc. You picked the wrong game mate. I thought we had a little struggle with East Thurrock who i thought played very well at times. Over all we were better. But....We've been much better than what you saw yesterday.D..rtfotd seem to have bucked of late so whats your take on that. I'm not a Jamie Coyle fan so i'm not surprized you've had a slow ...ish start. It's early days. It could all change allto soon

.....i'ts early days though.

Well pleased with another three points and another clean sheet as well despite a few defensive changes.

I have been a little critical of the keeper at times this season so only fair to redress the balance. His decision making was positive and he pulled off a couple of great saves, one at 0-0 and another at 2-0 which could have altered the course of the game. There were a couple of times when he came for crosses and his defenders cleared from in front of him but the communication will improve and it is better that both players were positive in dealing with it rather than neither.

Once again we scored twice and could have had a few more. Their keeper also made a couple of top drawer saves and of course there was a missed penalty as well. We look a threat from all over the field - Kiernan has been a threat every week and his goal record thus far speaks for itself and we are just starting to see how much L'Ghoul can bring to the team. Jebb is an obvious threat from set plays but has now also scored three goals from open play this season and is looking much fitter and sharper than last season. The second goal was a great team goal and as has already been said on here would not have been possible without the great work of Mills initially. Good to see that we have a bench that can do different jobs as well - JPK did well at moving the ball when he came on and we know that Mccallum and Mendy can also do jobs for the team as well.

A few names have been thrown into the hat for motm and I can see why forwards/goalscorers usually get those awards. However on Saturday my vote would have gone to Ijaha. Whilst it is great to have ball players like JPK and Jebb in the midfield and wingers flying forward I am of the opinion that, especially at this level, you need some muscle and power in midfield and this bloke has both and can play a bit as well. It is no coincidence to me that things have got better on the pitch since he came on early in the Concord game and I think he is a vital player for us going forward.

A big game in the Cup next week for many reasons and if we show the right attitude, then hopefully we should prevail. Then a big game against Bath the week after where we will hopefully have more players to pick from and will need to have all aspects of our game in working order.

Up the Wings!

I take your point but I felt you were in control of the game and maybe took the gas off at times. I mean this with total respect, I was really surprised at just how good a few of your players are and I also think youre well organised.

I think the the biggest thing for me was concord bullied us and beat us comfortably 2-0 then you went there a week or so later and smash them 5/6 - 0. I forgot exactly but I know you smashed them.

As for colyle i have to wait and see.

Steve King certainly knows how to put a squad together. The squad we have now is full of very talented players who work hard and do the ugly stuff as well as the nice stuff. We are strong all over the pitch and well organised.  The only down side is Danny Mills isnt scoring although his performances have been bloody good and he is well worth his place in the team.  Im enjoying watching Welling again. I couldnt of said that last year. Im glad JC left because I didnt feel he was able to improve us. I bet a good few of you wish TB was still In charge at you gaff. You dont know what youll miss until its gone. We had that when Jamie Day went.
