Absolutely excited for tomorrow, let's get at them from the get go. We need some good momentum going into the Christmas games. We owe Dartford a beating after the two games last season.
Rooney looked okay, still think were missing a midfield general who can pick a pass. Weve got a team working their bollocks off but getting very little reward at the moment.

Rooney might be that person if he is given time to get used to the players around him and how they run off the ball.
Disappointed not to take three points on Saturday having had a man advantage for more than half the game.
Strangely I thought we actually played better when it was 11 v 11. We didn't really see the new formation as it only lasted five minutes or so! Both makeshift full backs played well and I thought JPK and Mendy controlled the midfield in the first half. Rooney has a decent cv and will undoubtedly improve when he gets some match sharpness and his set piece delivery will hopefully be an asset. My only real criticism was that I couldn't understand why we never switched L'Ghoul and Goldberg over at all during the game. The former was clearly our biggest threat but he only went outside his full back twice that I can recall. Clearly he favoured his left foot but in the second half he was just cutting inside to all the traffic and they were able to snuff him out (legally or illegally as the case may be...) We needed to stretch them more and get in behind and we didn't do that nearly enough although credit to Hemel for their defensive work and for running down the clock effectively as well. Some of the forward combinations don't seem to be clicking at the moment and we didn't really create enough chances given the man advantage. Having said that the Welling fan(s) who were very vocal in their criticism of the manager on Saturday need to have a word with themselves...perhaps they would rather have the likes of Brown, Faz or Wheeler at the helm...??
On to Boxing Day and a game that I always dread! It's high time we beat them at PVR and let us hope/pray that Wednesday is the day.

Round and around in circles aimlessly you mean (Kissock).
I am concerned to learn from Wingnut's usual, incisive, report that fans were having a go at Steve King. Yes, I have a mutter about his approach sometimes, but he is the best thing to have happened to this club in a long time - with skilled players playing quality football. Long may it continue win, lose or draw but let it be win most of the time - especially on Boxing Day.
Wasn't there but I do not understand Patterson getting the start over Millls, he's done nothing so far. Oxford city have been flying since he left and their striker who's name I'm not gonna attempt to spell (begins with a T) is banging in goals for fun.
I think some of the fans comments were aimed at getting a sub on quickly when it was clear Jordan couldn't carry on and bringing Mills on earlier. I didn't hear anything directed at King but if there was then totally unfair. We have a good manager and squad that needs our backing when we have a wobble.
I still don't understand Paterson ahead of Mills though.
Thought Kissock looked sharp but needs to release the ball earlier and pick out the wide players. Brad played quite wide Saturday and looks very quick but he didn't get the ball out wide much to cut in and take defenders on. We were hitting the ball too much down the middle with too many dink passes not coming off.
Highlight for me was seeing our squad players in the stand we were attacking getting behind the team. Great effort and seems like the whole squad have a good team spirit.
Agree entirely, SK has been a revelation, hes done wonders with a limited budget and continuing injuries to key players.
Now we face a critical 3 or 4 games so all fans should give the whole Welling set-up their full support.
I know its disappointing when your one of the few making the effort to go to an away match, only to see a below par performance.
I know its Christmas but I think a few have been at the Sherry. The original budget cannot have been cheap I will be conservative and say 2k more than last season. Add on every time weve had an injury and King has gone out and spent bringing in players including Adam Coombes and Paterson and im struggling to see weve had to battle with a small budget.
i can see cuts coming and if he doesnt get promotion I can see Goldberg binning him off as hes been spunking money on players all season. I did read Steve say anyone would have took this position we are in but add in the money hes spending and I find that as hard to swallow as Turkish delight dipped in dog shiiit.
long may we stay up there and kudos to Goldberg for finding money all season but dont think we are punching above our weight on a small budget and the players are playing for love of the club, just hope all this is not at a great long term cost.

Interesting comments and everyone is entitled to their views. I thought the two strikers worked their socks off and can see exactly why they are starting, unfortunately imho and I will say it again, we look like a team of individuals with a number who want to do it all themselves, we seem to be missing a leader who can gel it altogether.
Patersons goal against WSM and Goldbergs goal against Hungerford shows their quality. Mills coming off the bench is perfect imho.
So looking forward to the Dartford game, give Rooney a more central role feeding the strikers? Buzzing for Wednesday, happy Xmas all
