l would just like to say I have only started following the wings this year , but how much Ive enjoyed it home and away. I chose welling because of the reputation the manager has for attacking football and my son and I have not been disappointed! The budgets the top three have means the play offs is the best we can hope for , but how good would that be! Really enjoy home games and staying for a few afterwards as its so friendly. We are very lucky to have the players we have on a tight budget , and I love the effort they put in and the passion from the management on the sidelines! Danny Mills to me is conference standard at least. Anyway , first post done!
Its definitely the best squad weve had since the year we won this league and the first season up with the big boys. We beat some good teams that year and held our own. SK knows how to put a squad together and his contact book is about a foot wide. Every player runs their wotsits off. Win lose or draw there is never any lack of effort. The big downside to this season so far was losing Jack Jebb to injury. He was different gravy until he done his knee. To think Jamie Coyle only started him in half the games last year. He was wasted last season SK spotted his ability straight away and got the best out of him from the get go. 4 goals and 10 assists before the Woking FA Cup game. We are still missing him. Hopefully Luke Rooney can get fit and replace Jebby. We are lucky to have SK as he could easily find a management job elsewhere. I think hes mellowed a bit lately as he was quite confrontational as Jamie Day would testify. As of now I love the geeser. Hes put the smile back on my face and a few others. Long may it continue.

King will always get a team competitive in this league if he has a sizable budget, hes proven that. We've got players on 400 a week in the squad so less of the small budget its nonsense. Its a decent budget and it got bigger. We should be challenging as our budget is one of the highest. I wouldn't give up hope of winning the league, long way to go and King knows what he is doing.
