With the injury list being the way it is it will be a miracle if we get anything from this game. God knows what the line up will be and how many subs we can muster.
We weren't poor tonight. Thought we looked really good for a prolonged spell in the 2nd half and had them rattled. Hill had a header hit the post and roll along the line, how it never went in. Would have made it 1-1. Team battled well tonight and created a decent amount of chances.

You watched a different game to me then. First half we were abysmal.
I wasn't expecting much when travelling around the M25 last night but, yet again away from home, it was a case of what might have been...
First and foremost Woking are a decent side. Confident, on a great run and well backed. However if you had asked last night in the first half who had 24 hours less recovery time and who had spent their last game chasing the ball for 90 minutes you would have said it was us and not them in the first half. Lethargic, off the pace, losing tackles all over the pitch and trying to be too clever with some of the passing. I can understand why we went with the same formation after scoring five goals at the weekend but that proved to be a big mistake. Their left back and captain is an annoying **** but he is also a very decent player and if you give him and his fellow full back the freedom of Surrey for 45 minutes then, chances are, you will struggle. Add that to the fact that we conceded stupid free kicks in dangerous positions (a trait that has happened for a few weeks now) then chances are you will come unstuck again although it took a big assist from us to help them score the opening goal.
At least in the second half we shored up the flanks but only by playing central strikers on the left and right wing?! Once we introduced two wingers and had round pegs in round holes and, guess what, finally we were in business. We pushed them back for twenty minutes, got in behind them and started putting a few crosses in from wide areas and set pieces. They were struggling and how the header from Hill stayed out I have no idea! It looked a matter of time before we would get the equaliser but then another deflection and it's game over. It was a good time to play Woking and they were flagging and, whilst I can't fault our effort in the second half, we conceded the game in the first half and were authors of our own downfall in that respect.
By my reckoning that makes 5 league defeats out of the last six on the road and one point from the last 18 away from PVR. Yes there have been some tough games in that run including last night and Torquay as well but we won't be staying in and around the play offs if we can't improve our away form sooner rather than later. We should have won at Hemel but didn't. We might have won at D******* but we ended up with nothing. I wasn't at the Hampton game but, from what I have heard, we could and maybe should have won there but, once again, took nothing. Our last three points way from home was at Bath and that was in September! We need to be a bit more pragmatic away from home in my opinion and maybe sacrifice some of the passing football for a more direct approach and make ourselves harder to beat or we can kiss goodbye to the play offs.
Perhaps a 10 day break is not a bad thing at this stage of the season after a lot of games in a short period but we need to address these shortcomings away from PVR...and quickly!
First half Mills was winning headers and causing a real nuisance out on the left which says it all really. He should have been in the middle causing a nuisance with wingers supplying the balls in, as we did in the second half when Callum and Brendan came on. Three strikers didnt work against quite a decent Woking team but we really rattled them second half. If we had got a goal I reckon we could have gone on and won the game. How we picked up all those bookings and they got off with loads is amazing but not surprising. Refs seem more eager than ever to go with the crowd and ear bashing from the opposition players than ever before.
I think were due a change in luck soon what with the injuries, bad weather, bad pitches at Torquay/Hampton, unjust yellows and voice activated officials.
