Find it hard to realise we only drew that game. Easily the better side. Fair play to them for fighting their way back. Their 14 made a difference to their attack. Cant fault our squads effort and desire. COYW.
Never thought I would ever have heard this but 2 Woking fans talking at road end when one said they didnt deserve to win or draw the game s aying Welling much better team.
Well done, Wings, and heads up you battlers - it is another point towards our play-off campaign with a depleted squad. What happened to the arrival of an additional "big striker"?
The guy who scored 2 for them is the one who went to Coventry from Dulwich. Far to good for this level.
Yes. He was the only forward Surreys Barcelona had that gave us any trouble. My ears are hurting though. Listening to Surrey Barcelonas knobhead fans moaning and whinging for 90 minutes was doing my head in. They really do think they are a big club dont they. Ha!ha!ha!
Before the game I would have accepted 1 point, went away from the game deflated with 1 point. I do not know why that Woking mob think they are something special, because they certainly aint.

The only things that stop them from being the big club that they really deserve to be are their team, their ground and their lack of fans.
Good result and the results recently have been very good. Add in the fact the squad has injuries and the manager has been handcuffed then its even more impressive. I felt King needed to prove he was still a good manager and motivator and had been just relying on making signing after signing, hes proved recently that he can motivate a team and get results when things go against him so well done to him.
Hopefully he can finish the job and get promoted via the play offs and I am sure he would look back in years to come on it as one of his best achievements. Beating Woking or D*rtford in a play off final would be the icing on the cake .
I'm happy with a point even though we was 2 goals up twuce. I've just listened to the Woking manager's pot match comments and he was full of praise and respect for us. I honestly thought that when 8 staff had to leave that the squad would crumble and we'd just slip down the league and I think SK and our team have shown unbelievable character in keeping our play off hopes alive.I just wish a few more people would come though the gate although I suppose 800 for yesterday is above average
Some of these opposition fans forum make you laugh . I quote Wellings niggling cheating and play acting is still alive and kicking. They should take a long hard look at themselves, their No 9 in particular seemed to be auditioning for Swan Lake with his boots on.Take your rose tinted spectacles off fella, you are not as good as you think you are.

Wokings manager was very complimentary about us in his post match interview. Wouldnt expect anything else from their fans though, theyve never like dropping points against us and seem determined to view us as the team we were in the 1990s. Woking fans have achieved what Stephen Hawking couldnt, time travel and staying firmly there.
Another home game where I left with mixed feelings - would have taken a point before kick off (despite our very strong home record) but was gutted not to get all three at the end. I think both manager's called it about right from their point of view and nice to see an opposition manager give the other team credit (no chance of that from most of their deluded fanbase) rather than blame it on officials, their own deficiencies etc...etc..
Once again top of the league rocks up at PVR and are distinctly underwhelming although perhaps some credit for that should go down to our lads as well. Three very well taken goals in the first half and we were tearing them apart at will especially down our right hand side. Audel has been a revelation in midfield in the last couple of games and took his second goal like a seasoned striker! Kiernan has been on fire the last couple of games and is finding the net again as he was on a regular basis when he first came to us. I suppose you have to begrudgingly give Woking some credit for coming back from two goals behind and their second was certainly a cracker. They had looked shot and out of ideas and just before that we might have made it 4-1 and that would have been game over. I also think had Mills been available on Saturday we would have won that game for sure as he would have kept them occupied at the back throughout, held the ball up and won us a few silly free kicks as well.
If I have one gripe (as I usually do!) it would be about game management which SK has alluded to already. The number of stupid free kicks we conceded in the second half was ridiculous and they all looked like free kicks to me. Whilst none of them directly lead to a goal it still builds up pressure and leaves us camped in our own half. Also at other times we needed to clear our lines but got caught in possession - I know we play some nice stuff and are encouraged to play out from the back but, as people have said many times before, the other team can't score if the ball is in the stand or out of the ground...
It's another point towards the play offs (hopefully) and proves we can mix it with anyone in this league even when resources are as stretched as they are. No Mills, no Ijaha and L'Ghoul only just back in the fold and yet we still come away disappointed with a draw against the league leaders so testament to the players and management staff for another very good performance.
Seven games left - three at home and four away. Whilst the next two are away to teams struggling to stay up in Weston and Gloucester that doesn't mean they are going to be easy......far from it. Weston have taken 4 points from Torquay and Chelmsford in recent weeks and won't go down without a fight. The conditions at Evesham (Gloucester) last year were horrendous and it will be a case of rolling our sleeves up (a la Hungerford) and grinding out the results. It doesn't have to be pretty at this stage of the season but it has to be effective. One more player back from suspension next week and another one the week after and, fingers crossed, no more injuries!
