Some barbed comments about the Wings being a "horrible, arrogant little club".  In almost 50 years of supporting Welling United I have never been hurt so much than by that comment. I have always found our officials to be so polite as to the point of deferential, and as for arrogant we have always excelled at being understated - often to the point of tinpot. I just cannot square that comment.

It's just jealousy because we have relativity little support but a very good team.

...and a very good ratio of travelling support to average home gate.

Someone should remind them of a cup game 20 odd years ago at Welling when they threw the road end bins on the pitch.

The officials have changed

We have new directors etc and there have been raised words at games between officials too.

To have clubs hate you isnt a bad thing, must be doing something right. King dishes it out too which I like . Hes really impressed me since MG cut the budget so severely.

We dont care what the Woking say.. or anyone else for that matter

It would be great to finish third as makes the playoffs easier. Im not sure anyone in the playoffs would want to face us as mentally King has got us spot on and the  team are winning games and giving everything.

Im sure wed all agree that 3rd place is the target which makes the matches v Bath and Chelmsford even more critical.

I wonder if the cup final will be taken seriously or as a training session to give the guys coming back from injury a run out?

whatever happens we cannot underestimate the effect that we fans can have by packing the terraces and being LOUD.

Totally agree with the previous comment...now is the time to really get behind SK and the team. 3rd place really is ours for the taking with the prize of a home semi final has to be the target. The way the team has bounced back after the squad depletion and budget cuts has been a fantastic achievement and it would be nice if a few more people would come through the gate for the last three home games. The Easter Monday away game at Thurrock would be great if we could take a decent following.

Their comment says players and officials. Not the first time that's been said on a teams forum this season..
