Regret I left just after 2nd half started as FC Elmstead scored their 5th goal on 46 mins having opened up at 2 mins.
Youngsters did not give in and were 3-0 nil down and pulled pack to 3-2 then Elmstead went to 4-2 and 5-2. (think I have it right). After I left our lads must have continued to perform as it ended up 6-5 to the young wings. I then heard there was a bit of a bundle and players families got involved. After which the referee called time.
Judging by some videos I've seen of it it's not a surprise...
Most these 'youths' don't deserve to be in a privelidge position to play football.
can you provide a link to some videos as watching part of the first half I could not see any problems, especially with our lads keeping their heads up and getting on with it.
It was someone on Facebook, doing vidoes and live videos. It wasn't the players on the pitch but the ones in the stand that were the cause of the issues.
.
Someone from Welling kicked the ball away and it got a bit heated then supporters / familes of both teams went on the pitch is what i heard. Anyone hear different? The Welling Academy twitter said away supporters went on pitch with a knife?
Was the game filmed and has anyone seen any videos that are still up?
It always seems the biggest problem with youth football is the pushy parents. Shocked anyone gets involved at ref or manager level when d1ckhead parents are involved and think their kid is better than Ronaldo
