Draw is live on Talksport2 at 1.30 this afternoon. National come in today and just hope we dont get Woking away this year. A nice home draw again would go down a treat.
Home draw would be great..just gotta feeling we're gonna up travelling miles up north..!!!
It's still regionalised North and South I believe. We could go as far west as Torquay but, north wise, I think Hertfordshire is about as far as we can go at this stage.

I expect they will do the North first then have lots of adverts and chit-chat. We should know our opposition by tomorrow lunch-time!!
MG gets away with not sticking to our limits once again...
Could of kept king in charge and gave him the money to spend.
Agreed. Plus the fact that despite the so called budget cuts we still managed to go out and get literally a whole new team.
You are aware that not all teams/squads assembled cost exactly the same amount of money aren't you...??
I am, but i know what the current one cost roughly and whos on what, plus the fact MG alluded to in a interview that we would of been in trouble if not for the fa cup money.
I mean seriously when will he learn, I was hoping we lost to chipstead of Tavistock so that he would!!!

The first comment was in reply to Mr Jones and not your good self.
Secondly I have lost count of the number of people who claim to know how much budgets are, how much this player and that player earns etc...etc...
I don't tell people what I earn at work and am sure 99.99% of the population doesn't either!
I do agree that I don't like budgets being constructed on the back of cup success/failure but I have a feeling a lot of clubs do that.

99.99% of people dont send out A4 sheets with the details on.
Surely its MGs business what budgets are set and what players are paid. Id rather he took a few sensible gambles at the start of the season to try and aim for the playoffs, rather than risk ending up near the bottom with unused cash in the bank. A difficult balancing act but thats his role as Owner / Manager.

The FA Cup is the gamble that some clubs take BUT any sensible club would set a budget plan which didn't include the FA Cup.
As part Community trust, it is in the interest of the fans how exposed the club is, and who it owe money too.
Or is this the same as the ground development? You listen to any old clap-trap and take it as gospel?

The last 8 years weve gone two rounds or more in the FA Cup 6 times so if youre up for a gamble then maybe not a bad one. Also made the second round twice in that time.

Surely if King had stayed he would require a payment for his services. That would mean a reduction in the playing budget which in turn would stop him signing players of the quality needed. With Mark at the helm there is no need to pay a manager thus he can spend more on players when he needs to.

It's his business but its everyone's club that hes gambling with, what if we drew Wealstone or Hemal away in the 2nd quali and went out first time of asking?
By his own admission we would of been in trouble, great way to run a club that...Not.

We could go out to anyone at the first time of asking. At least you would make some money off the gate at Wealdstone. Not sure I'm totally enamoured with the apparent presumption we would automatically have lost those.
If we'd had this draw with last season's manager and team I'd be licking my lips at the prospect. This time round as soon as they score the game is up and we might all as well retire to the pub
