If we lose I'll be calling for the manager to stand down and appoint a proper manager with his own staff and full responsibility on selection and recruitment. I'm beginning to think our players are money grabbing mercenaries taking the owner for a ride.

I hope they prove me wrong.

I agree if we lose I want to see changes but I don't think our players are 'money grabbing mercenaries'. Certainly some are not performing as well as they should and some lack motivation at times but I think that's partly the management/coaching and low morale. Will be interesting tonight as Dulwich are on a bad run - worse than us!

Seems like the bromley contingent make decisions though, hence not one of them in the erith game.
Even if its coincidental, it doesn't look good...and none of them are performing so it does look like they are taking the piss.
I'd get rid of one them, probably Anderson, and see what happens.

Be interesting to see how the Welling contingent for Dulwich play tonight; Mills, Orlu, Monakana, Ijaha, Vose.

Hopefully not good!

If we lose to the plastic hipsters club tonight then that surely has to be that, install a completely new management team with an experienced manager. We have had a favourable run of games and we cannot beat eggs and all weve done is let our best midfielder go and signed a step 6 striker.

Wheres the new step 6 striker we signed? Also no Goldberg, No Coombes, No Diamond and we have only 4 subs after letting Jebb go.

Don't let a 0-0 draw think that was a fair performance, it wasn't.
The midfield was severely lacking.
That was a very poor side we faced tonight, who (after their FA Cup exit Friday night), did not look up for it.

The goal drought continues with

Coombes, Goldberg and the new striker nowhere to be seen and only 4 on the bench.

The new stiker has left apparently. First 55 mins not to bad tonight, just nothing up top. Then Dulwich, who seemed tired and a little disinterested went for the win and really should have got it. We need a new manager, new coaches and some new players. But we do have a few like Sanchez Ming who seem to care.

If the new guys has left, then you wouldn't be confident we can recruit anyone good enough to make us stronger if our recruitment continues to be woeful. Maybe we will release the Keeper, Ming and Cookie to follow Jebb.

Credit to the players who ground out the 0 - 0 against a well resourced - poorly run - club.

Coombes goes missing, and what's to say he signed for Romford !

Dymond is no shirker. Be injured or ill or something ....

Brad Goldberg can't be faulted either for work ethic, so again there will be a reason.

Just can't see where the ship can be turned or steered with the run of games coming up.

Buckle up!!!

3 goals in the last ten games. 1 win in the last ten games. 6 points from a possible 30. Relegation in April.

Coombes was injured.

Goldberg was ill.

Dymond was suspended.

And if anyone wants Cook they can have him...

Albert Einstein described the definition of insanity as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Why is Cook still taking set pieces?

 Why is goldberg still manager?

Why is hugo still coach?

Why do we play the same style football?

We were better first half last night compared to recent games but as the game went on we didn't have any tempo or pressure on Dulwich. We were lucky they were poor as well to be honest. Not going to single out players but some were more erratic as the game went on - if they stayed in their positions and focused on the simple things then we'd be in a better place. Injuries and suspensions will be out of the way soon so the next two games are a good test and crucial.

If by some stretch of the imagination you think the players are good enough (no goals in 461 mins , 2 points from 15 vs poor teams)

Then how much blame can we apportion to the manager and the coaches. Who is scouting the opposition? Helen Keller and Stevie Wonder?

Its all too comfortable, the players were told in pre season mid table is the aim. The coaches are MGs chosen back room team and given MG said before he hasnt got the time to be a manager then we can be sure its the coaches running training and scouting the opposition. They arent doing an acceptable job.

Something has to change and change quickly. Even when Coombes and Bradley were playing we are struggling so waiting for them to be fit seems a leap of faith?

Who recommended the striker from 4 leagues below? A Dartford fan?

If this isnt the right time to step aside I can only think we have Klopp or Pep lined up after Christmas as right now we are snookering and handcuffing who ever takes over.

Is there one supporter who thinks just plodding on as we are is the best course of action? As you were chaps on to the next pay day it will all come good all of a sudden.

And therein lies a real problem. He may have been good enough if he hadn't been put in straight off the train with no work with the rest of the team (assuming that is a concept we are prepared to embrace). We will never know. The bigger problem is that it has been deemed not to work after three weeks so supporters will, in future, presume it won't work with someone else and players who might be in the frame may think the same.

You then definitely won't get another Kedwell (even if it is low odds to start with that you might).

A lot of these questions shouldn't need asking because:

MG is a season football man, chairman and manager of some sort.

Hugo is highly accredited coach

Osei an ex-pro

All have been in the lower level game long enough that these "trials/errors/teething problems" shouldn't be a case. Seems we're seeing if, what, maybe, just......when surely the apprenticeship's are finished?

Thought Cook at least put in a shift though the quality was often sadly lacking.

Cook always does put a shift in but things just are nt happening in the final third, perhaps as Wingnut said we need to quick things simple and play the percentages. It was pleasing to hear MG recognise that we should have scored more goals from set pieces this season, the question now is what are the coaches going to do about it. And our lack of firepower last night showed just what a missed opportunity it was to score some goals last week against Erith to boost the confidence.

I am desperately trying to look for positives but it is becoming harder week by week. At least it won't break the bank for those of us in the Sponsor a Goal scheme!

I suppose that if we keep a clean sheet then we are guaranteed a point minimum. Wilks fully deserved his player of the month award and came to the rescue when needed in the second half on Tuesday night. The two centre halves dealt well on the whole with Mills (who we all know can be a real handful) - they might have been the best option for this game but I still feel that the best centre back at the club was sitting on the bench..?? I have been critical of Anderson in the past but felt he had one of his better games against Dulwich and Ming has possibly been the player of the season thus far but there is still the tendency to sulk as he did right at the end of the game when he walked back from the halfway line after a move broke down.

We didn't have a lot of options further up the pitch on Tuesday but there is still a real lack of cutting edge. We don't seem to have settled on a pairing in midfield. I thought Widdrington looked a real addition when he came in but he seems to have fallen out of favour at the moment - maybe it is time to stick with a pairing (or three even..) and give them a few games to get an understanding going. Green grew into the game the longer it went on but Cosgrave on the other side looked devoid of confidence - his number one asset is his pace and yet he (or we) don't seem to be able to utilise that in the right way. Cook once again flattered to deceive - I can't fault the bloke for work rate, energy and enthusiasm but he takes so many bad decisions and, when he is clearly at fault, he has the audacity to throw his toys out of the pram and blame someone else..?! I have been whinging for a long time about set plays and that is still an issue three and a half months into the season. I did like the look of the lad Henry up front particularly in the first half - he was holding the ball up, laying it off well to other players and was competing well but after an hour he was completely spent and we had nobody to bring on. Hopefully with some more match fitness and sharpness he will be more of a handful in the next few games. At least we managed a few attempts on goal and worked the keeper a few times which we had failed to do in the Hampton and St Albans games. What was a bit of concern to me was the apparent fitness levels - Dulwich played on Friday evening (with the same starting XI) and most of ours had not played for 10 days yet they looked the stronger side the longer the game went on and the more likely side to win it towards the end.

Another home game on Saturday against a very inconsistent Braintree side. Hopefully we will have more options to choose from and a full and more balanced bench to choose from as well.

Up the Wings!

Rich-Baghuelou might be the pick of the centre halves from a footballing perspective but Swaine has the best form and has the most know how. Okosieme has been worthy of his place since coming in when Rich-Baghuelou had his spell at right back (where he lost favour).

Am genuinely shocked that Widdrington cannot get a game. He showed once again in his brief cameo on Tuesday that he's by far the most effective central midfielder we have. Am struggling to work out, based on performance, why Waldren has been brought back.

Set pieces were woeful on the whole and Henry showed some promise up front with Green on the left flank having a good second half. Would be nice to see more of Cosgrave's pace and Ming once again had an excellent game.
