Can I just politely ask what is WUSA's stand in this crisis? Are they even still active? And before the cynics suggest it, no, I don't want to give MG more money to get an answer!

Who cares what WUSAs stand is? You havent gotta be a member of WUSA to have an opinion or a voice and WUSA are not a political party with a policy to follow everybody has their own opinions, thoughts or agendas.
You can make your feelings known on here, you can make your feelings known inside the stadiums home or away, in the bars or your whats app groups.
You dont need the backing of anybody with WUSA membership to have an opinion on the football club you follow.
I think most of us would agree if you look at the individual members of the squad they are good enough to be at least competitive in this piss poor league. In short we have a decent crop of players but not a team. Why? A. They are only training once a week. B. The coaching they are getting is sub standard. C. The manager is pony. Those problems have to addressed full stop. If not we will be in the M25 league next season make no mistake.
There are no words for performances of late. What the hell do the coaches say to them in the dressing room, what is the game plan because nothing transpires on the pitch.
My worry is this is a vicious circle. Goldberg gets a win against weymouth or similar in the couple weeks he'll hang on to those coatails and suggest the tide has turned.

You are correct, lose to Weymouth and say I'll go if we lose next week. Then scrape a 1 0 win over a 10 man hungerford and say everything is ok.
The starting line up, which no matter where he is or what he's doing he picks, and today's was embarrassing, as soon as it was announced the game was lost.
The plan the other day was get balls in the box, I'd love to know what today's was because the 1st half was the biggest **** show.you could ever see.
Management - Not good enough or not there,
Coaching/Staff - Not good enough,
Players - Not good enough, individually, or as a unit,
Performances - Not good enough,
Results - Not good enough,
Attitude, desire, heart, passion, drive, enthusiasm - Not good enough or not there,
Ground Improvements - Not good enough or not there,
Budget - Higher, or pretty much on point, with last season,
Likelihood of chairman/manager implementing the one thing the fans want, which he could instantly do without any kind of need for others to assist, and which he said he would if things did not improve, his resignation - ???
This could possibly be the worse side I've ever seen at Welling....shambles from start to finish. We never looked like scoring, and made Dartford look like Man City at times. Relegation should be a worry.
I was talking to a Dartford fan who actually thought we were better today than Boxing Day. The trouble was Dartford were far far better than Boxing Day. Why? Because SK does his homework. All in all a fecking great Xmas period. N N N N N. No points. No goals. Nine against. No hope. No clue.

And yet he can come back and say "well I wasnt there so give it a few weeks" Eastbourne players haven't been paid for 6 weeks and put effort in.

Being pedantic, 'No goals' is incorrect. Moses scored at Eastbourne. However, it's the first time that I can remember a pointless 'festive' period. Even Jody Brown's one point came between Christmas and New Year.
Well I said it couldn't be worse than Boxing Day but it was!
However I also said on the Eastbourne thread that we might just draw the names from a hat regarding selection for NYD and I proved to be right on that one! I reckon the team must have been selected about 5am yesterday morning after a particularly heavy NYE..?! That is the only reason why we would start a midfielder at centre back with a fit centre half named on the bench (made all the more farcical when we brought him on at half time!) At the start of the season I felt that JRB was one of our best performers and yet he seems to be the scapegoat every time there is a selection issue (although Green does fill that role on occasion) I suppose not being part of the Bromley clique counts against them on that front..
I think we started with 4-3-1-2 with Moses behind a front two although I may be wrong on that. I can understand that formation if we were trying to play though them but we were simply launching the ball into orbit at every opportunity for one striker who couldn't make it stick and another striker who is five foot nothing and got swatted away like a fly most of the time. And what of Henry you say who scored four in one game not that many weeks back but only featured for a small time at Eastbourne and didn't even get off the bench yesterday..?? After getting the run around we seem to revert to 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 with Moses wide right leaving the centre of midfield with Rooney and Dymond. Now I do have some sympathy here with the former. Although his set pieces were appalling (and there is no real excuse for that) what possessed us to start a bloke in a struggling side in such a massive game when he has been playing Kent League football for months...?!?! And the only time I recall the latter getting close to anyone all game was when he talked his way into a booking and after the game when he was the sacrificial lamb for the "stick with us, we're not hiding, we will turn it around speech..." to the supporters which I last heard on....when was it again....that's it...four days ago. He might as well have saved his breath as most had given up long before that (not as early as the team did) and a number had already left the ground well before the end.
At this point I would like to exonerate Dan Wilks. He may have been at fault for the third goal as I had turned away at the time thinking he had the ball but he was outstanding and without him it could have been a cricket score. Also I feel that the lad Johnson has acquitted himself well at right back since he came into the side.
I hope someone has checked to see if Steve King is alright today as it must have been quite difficult driving home yesterday with tears of laughter streaming down his face. To be fair Billie Jean King would probably have managed to put out a team out to beat that shower masquerading as Welling United FC yesterday. Someone needs to get hold of this group and, first and foremost, get them fitter and playing as a team. Two sessions a week with one solely on fitness. I reckon that Elliott Romain covered more ground for them than half of our team combined. There are a few of ours carrying extra timber and not just as a result of too much turkey and mince pies over the last week either...
Spineless, Clueless, Rudderless, Gutless, Lifeless and ultimately Pointless. Three games over the festive period - goals against 9, goals for 1 (and that a 95th minute consolation that I could have saved) Not so much "making it stick" as "making me sick"
Happy New Year everyone!

"I think we started with 4-3-1-2 with Moses behind a front two although I may be wrong on that."
From watching at the side I think it was 5 at the back with wingbacks, 3 in the middle the whatever the front 2 were doing. But the players didn't know themselves so god knows how we're ment to.

Oh yeh I forget that late late consolation goal. Woopy doo!
First goal dreadful shape and defending from midfield , Johnson needs to be central if Dymond, Green and Rooney are holding hands on the far side, Their guy has freedom of Dartford to advance and shoot and keeper mistake gifts the opener. Second goal Johnson never blocked cross or got near it and your centre midfielder chosen to play centre back ahead of a centre back on the bench gets bamboozled by an average height striker in the air and its 2-0 Third goal pathetic defending from Anderson then another clanger from Wilks and a Dartford (ex Welling) player whos run 80 yards and busted his balls on the off chance from the corner they broke from at the other end pokes home, absolute gift 3-0 Fourth goal a bit clumsy from Jay Rich but all the angles were wrong running back towards goal tackling with that foot on our left hand side, Wilks went the other way for the pen 4-0
We have basically gifted them all 4 goals and Wilks has stopped them getting 8 or more with some good saves.
Shape was horrible (and probably the key factor why we got smashed to pieces) , effort was horrible, result was horrible.
Playing two people out of position in a defence and switching to a new formation and having a centre back on the bench is just a farce, no wonder the players looked confused or not bothered. Leaving Henry on the bench is mind boggling.
Dartford were much much better than us all over the pitch on and off it but you would like to think we would know enough about them and be motivated to try and make a game of it. Even if only that its one of the big Xmas derbies?
Embarrassing.
