Lets hope if we do indeed get a new manager if Mark steps aside that it is the new manager that is pulling the strings and calling the shots 100% and not a pantomime puppet with Marks hand up his ar5e..
Hopefully its nobody with previous connection to Mark in football terms and nobody from bloody Bromley FC!!!!
If anybody is appointed with previous connection to Mark at another club then it would merely be the final betrayal of our intelligence and quite literally an absolute pi55take.
We need an experienced guy who knows this league inside out, who has good contacts at this level with a proven track record.........how about the geezer at Dartford?? Hed fit the bill perfectly.
That bloke who MG sacked coz he thought he could do a better job has dragged the Black and White Shiite out of their slumber and put them in the play off places and top of the form table within a couple of months. Meanwhile he has turned last years play off finalist into a fecking laughing stock in less than 25 games.
Just a Rumour but I see this on twitter >I was told by a bloke today that Welling U, Erith town & E&B will be all ground sharing at new ground being build in Crayford/Dartford way and park view road will be sold to VCD. I hope these ain't true but if so I could see what happened to thamesmead town happen to welling...

With Goldberg around anything is possible but we need more than the opinion of a man and his dog
I thought Goldberg's company plans were confidential until the new year....

No chance of me relocating to dartford or crayford. Id stay put if VCD moved in. Goldberg is a destroyer.
Im guessing if this is true then itd be kinda similar to Wimbledon And MK?
For what its worth IMO we were actually better today. Jay Rich was MOM as far as I was concerned. The reason why Gavin Mc was subbed was because he was blowing out of his arse even before he assisted the goal. Perhaps they should of left him on for another 5 minutes to see how he was. But.. But we are not a team. Individual performances stand out each week but as a team we are poor.
We have been almost dead and buried before. Remember when Paul Parker was sacked. I think we were rock bottom. Liam Daish dragged us out of the Shiite then. We need another messiah. Dear Lord please send one down please.

Don't worry, I'll be there soon. Damian Matthew, Harry Wheeler, Tristan Lewis, Alex Dyer, Hugo Langton and Osei Sankofa have nothing on me.
I will dance to any tune. The best Dad dancing, boom!
Our season is safe, that relegation and letting supporters down we want, it will be delivered.
The best way is to advertise, interview, check references and maybe interview again. You won't always get it right but if you get the process right then you have a chance. You then need to back the new man 100% and allow him to pick his own team.
Even so I'm glad that he is stepping down. Hopefully the new man will not get rid of loads of players and bring loads more in like Jody Brown did. We just need to stick to a settled eleven and I'd stick with what we started with today with the possible change of Moses replacing one of the strikers.

Thats the main thing all season . On paper decent players and should be top half and challenging for play offs minimum. The coaching and preparation have been lacking and any players paid decent wages must train twice a week or you are handicapping yourself.
If its not the coaching and lack of training then we recruited a squad of the wrong players.
I think it's a bit of both. Dartford are flying now but only because King has had more money to spend and spent it well . Dulwich must have a similar budget to us and they've struggled, although had a 6-0 win today. They also had Ijah and Mills on the bench. All the London/ SE clubs are competing for the same sort of players and we have picked up too many who are past their best.

im praying hes stepping down.
Oh, he'll step down alright, and a clown like me will step in on his say so and pick the team whilst kissing his arse - it's a neat trick doing both at once.
I can't wait to see the players reactions, with instructions coming left, right and centre from 3-4 different people, none of whom have a clue what they are talking about.
A better performance and better effort on Saturday than the last few games although that is hardly saying much!
A few more changes (some enforced and some not I suspect) but first half was pretty even until we did the usual Welling trick of conceding on the stroke of half time. Yet again we are not getting beaten by great football or worldy goals but conceding really soft goals. I lost count of the times we could have cleared the ball before the first goal (and that was a problem all day on Saturday) and we were very fortunate not to concede a second before half time as well.
I thought Weymouth were a decent enough side but seemed content to sit and protect their league rather than go for a second. Mccallum looked decent and always puts a shift in but I can see why he was changed as he has been out for a while (again) and was out on his feet. At 1-1 I thought we could go on and win the game but the penalty conceded was a ridiculous challenge and killed any momentum stone dead. We huffed and puffed after that but without looking very threatening. The two big lads up front failed to make it stick for most of the game and their body language wasn't great for me either. We must have the tallest centre back combination in the whole league but we have managed only one headed goal from the pair of them (away at Yeovil) and we need to get a better return than that. Swaine has won a number of headers in the opposition box this season but we don't seem to react quick enough to the second ball while I can hardly remember Okosieme having a header at goal in anger all season..??
So it appears that MG has had enough (hopefully just on the managerial side in my opinion...) and is looking for a new appointment. As I have said elsewhere I hope it is a proven manager with some sort of experience at this level at least as I don't really want a "head coach" type who may well be learning on the job. Of course the former will probably cost more but that is a risk we have to take in my opinion even if it means shelving a player (or two) to stay within budget. Relegation would just be unthinkable (but is a distinct possibility as we stand today) Indeed things might get worse before they get better in the short term as we play the league leaders next who have won 10 out of 11 at home so far this season!
