Three points and getting a late winner after being pegged back twice is a superb result. Well done all and sounds like a couple of the new lads really stepped up to the plate. Now go and get another 3 points in the next game and start enjoying the rest of the season.
Love our new central midfield players. They both look good. Our new centre back from Huddersfield looks class too. I suppose we made hard work of that but with hardly any time together the new look team will only get better.
A good performance and an enjoyable match to watch, for once.
But, we were playing at home against the side propping up the table so we will have to up our game in the matches to come if we are not to slip back into the bottom two.
So very much a work in progress, but the signs are good
Very early days for BQ but decent performance last week at Wealdstone, three points today, improved squad with very good midfielders, better attendance, more sponsors, decent beer.
Yet some comments from the terraces are unbelievable. Still moaning!!! We have lost the last SEVEN games coming into today.
Will take some time but take the positives. Please
So much better. Still slightly frail at the back at times but there was bound to be nerves considering we needed the points. Players just look so much more drilled.
Even if we had drawn today I'd have been disappointed but at least there was effort and commitment on show.
Don't bring back swaine team is much better off without him
Not been for a couple of months and really enjoyed today. Bit of ebb and flow to the game and was tremendous to see us getting back into a winning position after being pegged back twice. Wonderful solo goal for the second and goodness Diaz Wright looks composed on the ball, hope we can keep him for another month or two...(also first visit to the Kentish Belle, lovely micropub!)

Mine and Alan Heaths frantic celebration at the third goal Id love to see on the replay! What a game and what a load of smashing tenacity from those lads on the pitch.
Huge shame for me that I cant be at Hemel but Im sure they will now be rightly nervous at this new-look team.
Notwithstanding that the opposition are in bottom place, we saw a much more committed performance yesterday. Stillthink we are rather lacking up front but the the young lads in the middle of the park (No6)wright (No7)James are certainly a bit quality for the side, I do hope we can keep them for the rest of the season. At last we saw a bit of balls in coming back after the second equaliser, havent leapt out my seat much this season but enjoyed that one. Finally, if I am not mistaken we saw our goal of the season yesterday, a cracker of an individual goal by Cameron. Hopefully, the squad will mature with more games and lets hope we can now go a positive run rather than the negativity we have produced of late. Keep it up Brad.

In three words I can sum up everything i've learnt in life; it goes on.
The movement by the kid for the winner was first class. He had the desire and honesty to get on his bike after he made a pass. For me thats a better goal than the second goal.
A very welcome three points if we did make heavy weather of it!
It is very clear that the new lads have made a massive difference in many ways and nice to have a scouting network that extends beyond Bromley and Dulwich. Whilst the Colchester lads have taken a lot of the plaudits (and rightly so) I think fielding a new centre half pairing in such a huge game was a big gamble although it appears we had little choice. Neither of them are huge but they both played well and to get a lad from a championship club is a real coup for us. I was a bit worried how easily they got in down our right side in the first half but we seemed to improve that after half time. I have long said that Green should have played at left back earlier (he might prefer to play further forward but he had to be a better bet than Anderson all day long..?!) I think the fitness issues will only get better after a few more weeks of training and the players getting to know each other more. If I am being picky (and I always am!) I feel we still need more potency up top and the ball is still not sticking as maybe it should. I actually felt Akinyemi had a decent first half on Saturday ( bar one missed chance) but he faded quickly in the second half. There is definitely a player there in Henry and credit to him for his part in setting up the winner but I think there ishould be a lot more to come from him.
Now two away games but there is a much better atmosphere around the place and a good team spirit seems to be developing as well as the goal celebrations showed. Not sure if the squad will be tweaked a bit more still but well done to all the management team for their work on and off the pitch thus far.
Hats off to whoever it was who came up with using 'WELL' and 'HUNG' as the shortened version of the teams' names on the graphic on the match highlights.
