We have received our payment early via the Premier League and the club has made a statement;

https://www.wellingunited.com/statement-from-national-league/

It's about £14k and as appreciative as we must be I'm not sure how us, and many other clubs, are going to get through the coming months. We need that sort of money every couple of weeks (if we had home games) and without it we must be running up some debt. Hopefully the club can get government help with paying staff but all the other income has just stopped (bar revenue, programme sales, fundraisers, club shop etc. etc.).

Unless the club has someone to invest or just prop up the club I suppose our budget next year will be massively reduced?

What outgoings are there at the moment to be racking up debts? Maybe a couple of bills but they cant be much if nothing be used and the players are not getting paid.

I suppose it depends on if the club can get back what they are playing contracted staff. I think that can take a while plus water bills, rent, maintenance, etc. Certainly be stuff going out

 I guess the majority of clubs will be in the same boat
