As the season has finished - any news on what happens to the remaining games on a season ticket? I do not want to phone the club as they have other things to deal with at the moment.
Personally i think the club could issue vouchers for the remaining games to be used next season.
I don't want a refund or vouchers or food vouchers. I'd sooner the club keep the money as they have probably lost a fortune already. Let's just hope that we have a football club to support next season if it ever gets under way
Agreed, I dont want a rebate, the sum involved wouldnt change my life but the total of all the season tickets could make a difference to the club.
Its the least we could do IMHO.
100% agree.
I am of the same opinion but understand if others want some sort of compensation.
I also feel supporters need to think about next season (whenever that may be!) and think of ways to help/ support our club in terms of sponsorship of players, matches, balls , kit etc..etc...
I realise that financially some people are suffering and need to look after their own first and foremost but any way we can help the club day to day needs to be explored.

Totally agree with all this post, I'm much more concerned with actually having a club to support next season. Let's face it, what have we lost..4 home games.?, I'm more worried about the overall welfare of the club than refunds. I'm personally going to sponsor some match balls next season and I'm trying to speak to my friends who have own businesses about matchday sponsorship. I think all of us have missed watching the team, imagine if that ended up permanent.!!!!
I have a feeling that there may not be football next season.
The discussions currently going on about the premier league have shown that they are looking at next season starting in September with no fans at games. I can't see how our season would potentially start in January and be able to play the sufficient number of games by may/june.
I wouldn't be surprised if next season is written off and we start again in 2021/22. Hopefully I'm very wrong!

People need to stop listening to that **** piers morgan in the mornings - there won't be any more "waves"
The economic impact of this lockdown will ruin more lives than the flu would have if everything had stayed open

My mate dave had a plumber round his house called Bob who said that his cousins mate Phil's second cousin twice removed heard that a vaccine could cause a zombie apocalypse...
1) Vaccine - Ain't one for SARS 17 years on, don't hold your breath (that might however reduce your susceptibility to catching COVid)
2) In order to have a season, you have to have someone to play against. If you get to 2021\22 before a restart that will likely be ,more of an issue.
3) This is looming upto be a collision between the ideal and the sustainable and they are looking like they are going to be largely mutually exclusive. You can already see that politicians aren't really willing to take the flak for anything less than the ideal. Therefore the driver will either come from the populace wanting some semblance of what they had before back and agitating for it in a sustainable fashion or social functions to which we were previously used will go by the board. We haven't reached the point where that realisation has occurred yet.
You also claimed that no more than 100 people would die as a result of this, so forgive me for not taking much note of your opinion.

Maybe if the NHS hadn't put infected old people into care homes the figure would be less
Plus the overall figure isn't true either - everything is being chalked up to this flu when it isn't actually the cause of death. The death rate of this thing is minimal
People will believe what they want but the nhs has effectively shutdown so after this overreaction people will be dying of all sorts of cancers and then comes the fact the quality of our lives will be lessened from a depression that is well on the way (furloughed people going to be made redundant and don't realise it yet).Just madness - I hope I'm wrong but we will see soon
'The longer the virus affects the economy, the greater the risks of long-term scarring and permanently lower economic activity, with business failures, persistently higher unemployment and lower earnings. This would damage the sustainability of the public finances and the ability to fund public services including the NHS. It would also likely lead to worse long-run physical and mental health outcomes, with a significant increase in the prevalence of chronic illness.'
At some more individuals will have to take responsibility for their own health and wellbeing. Denying free citizens the freedom and liberty to take part in Sport, and to spectate, is not something the state should take lightly.
It may be that the actual league structure will be difficult to continue if clubs cants pay for travel and there are fears about completing fixtures. But if necessary I hope there will at least be friendlies/ exhibition tournaments to keep us entertained.

This will be my last word on the subject on here but just read/listen to some Peter Hitchens - we are all going to pay the price economically for all this (as an actual government website says that I posted above)
My point was meant to be that most won't want a refund. However would be a marketing opportunity to drive revenue into the club as and when it opens up.
