Watcher folks,

Just probing out there to see who would feel safe coming to an outdoor beer festival, and who would not?

If there is a reasonable indication it would go well, and would be well-attended, I will obviously put it to the Club.

Cheers for now.

I have thought we could use the pitch as a large beer garden during summer, so why not have a beer festival on it to attract more people? I'd prefer that to being inside a pub.

Yes to a beer festival, wherever it may be.

Pitch renovation?-Is this 3G or reseeding as part of pre season?

Its a complete renovation of our current pitch which I believe will be possibly starting next week

I thought money was tight and the budget was zero? Someone must have a few £kks for a refurbished pitch.

A grant was obtained and hopefully work could start Tomorrow or Thursday.

BKK - 3G needs planning permission which would take a while to obtain.

Good idea and the area outside the bar/burger van could be used if the current bar management allow it. Would have to be mostly outdoor seating so would need a marquee or covered areas to cope with any rain.

All we need now is a team to play on it!

If you incorporate a Beer Fest with a work party then we could
have problems with Health & Safety.

Folks,

This may come across as rude but I assure it isn't.

Can we please not go off on tangents about pitch beer gardens, pitch refurb and such.

It's a simple question of "If we held one tomorrow, who would feel safe and come, and who would stay at home?"

The requisite straw poll will allow me to work out what sort of attendance would be expected as and when a "mass gathering" is allowed again.

Yes or no answers please - who would attend?

Would you not be better putting this request out on social media eg Twitter which would probably pitch you to a greater audience of beer drinkers and give you a better idea of possible attendees?

If it was tomorrow or in the near future then I would have to say no.

Think it's a great idea for the future when things have improved.

I am sorry to report that despite all of our hard work as a pub / business, and my work as Commercial Manager, I was relieved of all duties yesterday and am now no longer a club officer. I also dont believe the club will do real ale moving forward, so pop in and see us before and after each game for the good stuff.

Good luck those staff who have survived the cull.

Sorry to read this, can someone clarify what is going on now from a Commercial point of view as I was under the impression that Nick had started to make some progress?

I was not told who my replacement is, only that they reportedly are doing it for free.
