Not Wings related as we're talking EFL - though who knows, perhaps one day!!

There are many clubs who have suffered in recent times due to the actions (or inaction) of unsatisfactory owners: Wigan, Charlton, Bury, Bolton, Coventry, Blackpool, Macclesfield to name just a few.

A petition has now been launched encouraging Parliament to introduce a statutory owners' and directors' test to afford greater protection to clubs as the current one being administered by the EFL is clearly not fit for purpose.  If you agree that something needs to change for the good of football in general, you can sign the petition by visiting petition.parliament.uk/petitions/331589
