Hi All,

 

Just had it confirmed that supporters will be allowed entry to our fixture at Aveley on Tuesday night.

 

Access is limited to 200 people but will be enough to accommodate a pre season friendly

 

Kick off is 7.45 PM

Address: Parkside, Park Ln, Aveley, South Ockendon RM15 4PX

If you do have flu like symptoms please do not travel, use common sense.

I look forward to seeing some of you Tuesday, it's been far too long.

Excellent. Not been to their new ground before and it's really easy to get to, assuming the tunnel is running OK.

Although preseason the last couple of results are a bit of a concern

Not worried, we are still working with a large squad, with 5 weeks before our first competitive fixture, this will develop and the squad will be trimmed.

Surely pre-season is just about performance and getting the right fit of players to the way the manager wants to play?

So results at this stage not so important

Pre season consists of teams who are winning saying they are going to win the league and teams who lose saying it doesn't matter.

Really it's about going into a game with a plan, whether that be to defend,exploit wings, more or just keeping the ball and seeing how the players execute it and working on the bits that are not up to standard in training.
