There are no advance tickets, all entry is via pay on the gate

Guidelines
The guidelines below are for the benefit of all spectators and must be adhered to prior, during and after the pre-season friendly vs Welling Utd at the Hornchurch Stadium. These guidelines only apply to spectators.  Separate guidelines will be issued to visiting clubs, players, club officials and match officials.

The clubs Risk Assessment document can be found in the documents section of our website or directly from here.

Please ensure you observe the following:

  • If arriving by car, please park responsibly.  If the car par is full, there is street parking opposite the ground and on Bridge Avenue itself
  • If there is a queue to get into the ground please observe social distancing by standing alongside the bollards on the approach to the turnstiles.  The bollards are placed 2 metres apart
  • Face masks are not mandatory but should be worn to safeguard yourself and others
  • 2 turnstiles will be open on the day to speed up entry into the ground
  • Admission is via cash only.  Contactless or debit/credit card payment is not available
  • On entry to the ground you will be asked to register by providing your name and contact information.  This is part of the governments test and trace requirements.  We are also set up on evePASS for automatic test and trace (see below)
  • Following registration please ensure you sanitise your hands using the dispensers provided
  • On the approach to the bar area is the club shop.  The club shop will be closed
  • When entering the bar, please follow the floor arrows
  • Social distancing seating will be available in the bar and on the decking outside.  Please do not move chairs and/or tables
  • When queuing at the bar please follow government guidelines regarding social distancing.  Screens have been erected on the bar to separate customers from staff.  Contactless payments are accepted at the bar
  • The toilets operate a one in, one out policy
  • The game can be watched from within the bar area (seating permitting), outside on the decking area (seating permitting) and within the seated stands
  • Within the seated stands please only sit on designated seats (marked with a green sticker).  All 3 stands will be open
  • The Eastside terracing will also be open but please ensure you observe social distancing by standing 2 metres apart. Floor markings on the terracing will assist
  • Please observe social distancing at all times

Test and Trace
As part of the governments test and trace requirements all attendees must provide their contact information on arrival at the ground. This can be done in one of two ways:

1. Pen and paper. You will need to write your name and contact information on the form provided at the ground entrance. There will be a number of registration stations at the entrance to ease congestion into the ground. Each registration station will have a sanitiser dispenser. Please sanitise once registered.

2. Via the evePASS app. evePASS is an online test and trace app which you use on your mobile phone. Install the app, provide basic contact info, then from within the app scan the Hornchurch FC specific QR code which will be distributed around the entrance to the ground. For more info on evePASS head to their website here.

Enjoy the game.

Another poor performance! Total faith in Brad and feel sorry for him with a such a limited budget, but reality is we have not played well in any of the four friendlies Ive been to since we were allowed to go. Brutal truth is that that squad simply isnt good enough. Theres the odd glimmer, but its slow and predictable. The defence look woeful and barely won a header between the lot of them today. My frustration is that Im not seeing any improvement. It needs to get better and quickly.

Havent been to a game yet so cant comment but from what Ive read it does seem like the players we currently have are not up for it unfortunately. I dont blame Brad as theres not a lot you can do from his budget. Hopefully things can change but time will tell.

I really like Brad and what hes doing and dont blame him because of all the constraints around budget etc. Always try and see the positives and there are a couple of trialists that have played well but the defence is a huge worry for me and I just saw on Instagram that Wilkes played for somebody else today. Was impressed with the lad in goal second half today, but worrying that it looks as if Wilkes has jumped ship after being made an offer. Well get there was just very frustrating today.
