Bit of a random angle, but, good mate from Greece was saying in 2008 it was those with cash that did ok in the downturn because people were desperately selling stuff off and big assets were a problem....so could be sold for a song, or more precisely: £500k !
All very sad, but you dont end up owing half a million without making some bad management decisions, I wonder how many more will go and if everything will be sorted before we start playing again. Teams going bust mid-season disrupts everyone.
