A club statement would not be a club statement without the promise of a new ground, and can only imagine MG tapped Fiore up for some more cash.....and rented the club out
A good statement for positive messaging / like the government announcing their track and trace plans..

I read that as i don't want anything to do with the club but i'm having this property deal.
So MG owns the club still and is doing nothing at the club bar looking at a property deal.
Confused? who do we blame now if it all goes tits up? Hes technically walked away from the running of the club
Good luck to those left in charge and hopefully they can run the club professionally and sensibly having had to pick up the pieces.
What I saw
1) You know when you break up with a bird cos it's not working, but decide to go on holiday together to give it one more try.............................................
2) The Three Amigos Pt II are renting the club from him (can't imagine there are three salaries?)
3) Where does it leave WUSA?
4) Fans won't be back at football this year, so most of the update (which was an amazing update BTW) is meaningless.
5) New beer? So did the last supplier get knocked ?
Roll on first game of the season......

There no mention of Barrie Hobbins role in the new set up. Has Alan Heath now completely taken over the Club Secretarys role?
That's the main concern?
Barrie would do well to ask for his money and nothing more. I feel for him and his family. This is not right.
The owner has effectively walked away and is no longer anything to do with the club, or funding it in any way, and even if not funding, not even assisting in administering. He will just sit and wait in the hope he can cash in on a property deal. Dare I, and others, suggest we were right from the start 4/5 years ago.
I wish the commendable men, meaning well and trying to step in, all the best. But until something serious changes, or people are willing to break a few eggs to make some omelettes, then despite comments above like "good statement" and its a "bright future" they are far from the mark, and things like "pick up the pieces" are far more accurate. Someone is going to have to.
Again, to the new people wanting it, commendable, go get it, as it is there for the taking, and morals should mean that it's released now, before it dies.
The current management and ambitious new people wanting in, should be allowed. And the man that promised the earth and has failed, should give up and hand it over to them right now. No bright future until then, some pressure should be applied by those reading this, rather than hoping for the best.

I think everyone will wish Fiore well and hopes he can sort things out and dig us out of the sh... he and we have been left in.
Not sure how the business side of this will work and whats in it for him, is he leasing the club ? managing it? whatever, hopefully this doesn't string along for years and soon we can have an owner who is driving the club forward with commitment with the clubs best interests at heart.
It seems we have a few people around at the club running things and a small concern would be they each (of the main men) have full time jobs elsewhere so hopefully they can have the time and organisation to put in at the club.
Hopefully if it is the case that the owner has stepped away then those at the club now are free to bring news and innovation without interference.

No its not the main concern but clearly on a major restructuring such as this I would have thought that the person behind the club since the beginning would have been involved somewhere?
The Hobbins haven't got everything right over the years but we would be foolish to ignore a wealth of experience and I'm sure that this has been taken into account.
