Dear oh dear that was really really poor

No shape and pretty much clueless up front and as for the defence..less said

Bottom of the league and little prospect of winning a game

I also wasn't impressed with the, I assume Millwall fans, who caused trouble for the stewards after the guy invaded the pitch. Morons.

Poor game, poor goal. Started fairly well but then faded.

We played a 361 formation, or you could say 3421either way it didn't work, Dippo had no support up top. We also had a right footed player in Chiori Johnson at left wing back.

As soon as Quinton addressed this by putting on Liburd we conceded yet another goal from a corner.

We need a response on Tuesday as that was nt good enough.

A shame about the clown running on the pitch as otherwise things seemed to run fairly smoothly around the ground.

Golden rule. Dont make a substitution when the opponents have a corner.

There was absolutely loads of room for anyone who wanted to stand away from everyone else.

I thought that too. Was watching it thinking I was glad that I didnt go. The fact that we were so sh**e added to the feeling.

Watched on the stream, first 20 minutes were acceptable, we should have scored at least once & they didnt get a chance, after that we just got worse and worse. The substitutions made the performance even worse in my opinion. It got to the stage when I was sure we were in for a real thrashing, thank goodness for the goal post and crossbar.

It seems that every season we are told of the potential of the new group of players, this season has been disrupted by Covid, but we should have known by the poor performances in the pre season friendly matches that the hype was all overblown.

Some hard work needed now to mould these players into a team, please dont resort to the usual Welling option of the revolving transfer door.

Very poor performance today, we created very little all game and the few chances we could muster were all snatched at. Dartford fans have said that Liburd was one of Steve King's only poor signings last season and you can really see why, I'm not too sure what Brad sees in him. Yet another goal conceded from a set piece which is concerning, this has been a big problem all season and yet nothing seems to be done to remedy it. As has already been said, Dipo was isolated all game today and hardly got a sniff. I do like the look of Shokunbi and Ilic who both played quite well in the first half when we put together a couple of good passing moves.

Managers often say "judge me after 10 games", we are one away from that and only off bottom on goal difference. Whilst I am absolutely not calling for Brad to go and am well aware that money is very tight this year, we really need to see a dramatic improvement over the next few games or I would imagine there will be a few questions asked about his position.

Also, whilst I do appreciate the massive amounts of work put in by very hard working volunteers, it has to be said that the general social distancing today wasn't great. It is one thing having 400 odd fans distanced around PVR it is a different kettle of fish when they are all crammed up one end all game. I'd hate to think that anyone would get sick as a result of watching the football.

The less said about the idiots at the end of the game the better...

Turn it in FFS. You never went so dont beat yourself up over it.
As mentioned previously, if you was that concerned, there were plenty of locations you could have been away from others.

Social distancing. Please man up and grow a pair. Stop moan moan moaning. Im a man who acts like a man. Get on with life you woke wimps.

It's unenforceable in reality on terracing like ours I suspect. I thought the club made a pretty decent job of things just a pity the team didn't.

The Police didn't seem to have any issues with the social distancing when they walked past the terraces in the First Half. I'm sure they would have informed the stewards if there was a problem.

Good first 25 mins then went to sleep. Seemed a 3-5-1-1 with DV behind Dipo to start with? Whatever it was the second half was a nightmare and not good enough. Annoying as we looked in control.

Good social distancing and rules from where I was - had my temperature taken, table service only, masks on, lots of stewards, new markings, one way etc. spare room as well on terracing so if anyone wanted to social distance 5 metres or more they could have quite easily. Unless anyone needed their hand held I think the club did a great job.

My comment ref distancing was based around the clubs guidelines published online......maintain social distancing at all times......I just dont want the club to have any issues as we go forward

Comments like 'grow a pair' when many are dieing or hospitalised are a tad disturbing especially when the local area is one of the highest rates in the country now....Maybe following the laws/rules would help....however some dont care and I guess you cannot account for those that find it acceptable to ignore the rules and indeed find then funny

Maybe some think that social distancing/wearing a mask just doesnt work.
Anyway, lets not try to go off topic eh?
See you next season.

Regardless of what you think about the social distancing today the thing id be concerned about is what the league or council think. There is already a picture floating on social media taken by someone in the E&B stand.

On the pitch complete shambles still, cant keep blaming covid or finances, everyone in the same boat. Just a poorly assembled squad.

Thought we played some good football for the first half hour then it was downhill from then on. Two golden opportunities to score which were spurned, if you dont put such opportunities away then you are going nowhere. With all the players we seemingly have it was a very weak bench, which added nothing when changes were made. I admit I was a little puzzled over the formation and tactics in the second half and to be honest in the end we were lucky to get away with a 1-0 defeat. We probably missed Nathan Green and Cookie was way off form, we are not taking enough points from sides the likes of which we have played recently, need a big reaction on Tuesday night.
Looked like a decent crowd, missed an opportunity to keep them coming back.

Was tempted to make my comeback for this one, but I just can't abide all this mask wearing, social distancing stuff. Don't get me wrong, I know its the only way at the moment but I'm just in a football slumber while all this is going on and almost ruled out the season returning to normality

I only hope when we kick off again in August, we're still in this division and able to enjoy our football in the normal way

Sounds like the action on the pitch wasn't much to write home about. That late goal at Braintree might just save the season!

BQ and the 23 backroom staff will be gone by Xmas. Said it two months back. Performances abysmall - FA Cup the clearest sign of derailment.
Since then the team has been rejigged, and still the same poor results, joint bottom. One thing hasn't changed (not calling for it, sure we could limp to survival this year), just saying, football is a results game and change envitable. I reckon before Xmas.

SECOND BOTTOM! Bring back Goldberg, he would have us a respectable 5th bottom

We have a manager, loads of trendy coaches, a head scout, scouting network and a squad of mostly ryman at best players, loans and a couple of decent enough players.

Wheres the spine? Two wideys experienced but the spine from keeper (we had one then got one who made silly decisions and got injured, now we have an academy keeper), centre back, centre midfield to a striker is below the required standard, thats poor foundations to build a team and a squad around and try and get consistency.

Since we got the government money, streaming money and now gate money, theres no excuse to have a poor budget and no better proven players coming in is there?

It doesn't look good but as i said before when Brad refused to give interviews several times after a piss poor performance it didn't look good.

We go on like we have a poor budget, most clubs have poor reduced budgets and cut wages and most are above us in the league.

We need better players or a manager to get this squad playing.

I can see MG back as manager, even if hes not in same position financially as he was i'm sure he could find a few quid to bring in a decent striker at least. AFAIAA, Hes still the owner and can make decisions or take over again if he wishes.

Off the field it looks like we are doing an ok job with Covid stuff, We arent like Sutton United who have 100 volunteers in blazers to oversee everything, we have a small number of people working hard to enable the club to operate and host matches. They look to have tried to put in a system where people can socially distance, If people arent then have the stewards kick them out and ban them from the ground, If we have a Covid policy then carry it out.

Away to Sheppey and at home to Chelmsford are the only occasions and he probably would have done the latter if I'd waited another half an hour but I had to get home. I wouldn't call that several.

So how many interviews has he done after losses after the match at the ground?

I would say he set a precedent when we lost in the FA Cup to a step 5 team. I cant remember many managers over the years refusing or not being available for interview after a defeat. Especially such an abysmal performance in the FA Cup.

Disappointing yesterday. Everything from experience to performance on pitch.

Couldnt get a beer. Told queue was too long several times

Millwall fans - what was that about there just morons they do nothing to change the perception of their club.

Game - tactics are shot. Just play 442. The 3 4 2 1 didnt work.

Cook cant play wing back. Johnson was wasted on left. Hobbs was v good.

Others just didnt fancy it. Didnt leave everything on pitch as brad suggests they would.

Chippenham werent great saw we were for the taking and did the job fair play to them

Everything yesterday was reminisent of MG being in charge last year alla st albans at home, hampton at home.etc etc
