Evening all, just a reminder about Saturday. We still have spaces so if you have a question for the management team then book your space through me.

It's free to attend and the bar will be open throughout.

Great evening with Steve and Tristan. Really interesting hearing the thoughts of both of them and super excited for the start of the season!

Good luck to Steve and Tris this season on what will be a low budget due to circumstances. I'm sure they'll get a better squad than last season and be nowhere near the relegation zone.

I nearly ended up back filming as the club contacted me to ask how much I wanted to come back and asked me to have a meeting . Where I was told they weren't happy with film my match and i was also told what they were paying them . Massively over what they paid me plus streaming costs too. I quoted less than they're paying for filming and streaming for Home games to film match Home and away and stream Home games if needed (much less than they paid YIR and FMM) which I thought was a ridiculous price given the poor video and no highlights they've had and the fact they approached me to come back . I never heard back after the meeting when I was under the impression it was sorted. Lol.

Hopefully the video is better this season and there are highlights.

Couldn't make last night unfortunately

Were there any highlights or key points of note?

Unfortunately, these events are 'what's said in the room stays in the room' so it would be wrong to put up highlights on here.

It's  a bit pedantic really and sums up a lot of what's wrong with why new fans aren't attracted etc.  As a relatively new supporter who genuinely would have liked to have gone ill be cut from just a brief summary of what have might been covered.

Not a dig at you but nonetheless a shame

I don't think I am giving much away by saying it was an open and honest chat between management and supporters.

To start with there was a bit more background about Steve and Tristan themselves.

No specifics on players apart from those that have already signed.

Budget will be tight but we will have a fit, hardworking and organised team/squad which will be young but hopefully with a sprinkling of experience.

Some promising trialists to look at in more depth before season starts and some not quite so promising.

Both have a good relationship with MG

Try and get more engagement between players, supporters and management on a matchday.

As Steve Lovell pointed out he has done a number of these type of evenings and I have attended a few myself now. As he pointed out most manager's say the same things about getting their players fitter, more organised yadda yadda yadda but the proof of that (or not) will come after pre season and a few league games under our belt.
