Let another early goal in. Held it at 1-0 but then let one in just before H/T. Played the whole of the 2nd half and then let the 3rd in at the death. Young team showing their inexperience I think.
It was disappointing to see our players arguing with themselves in the first half. It wasnt all bad against a very physical side and lets be honest they will be there or there abouts, although I was expecting more from Havant. Clearly work needs to be done to bed players in. Goalkeeper was excellent which bodes well. However, let us not kid ourselves could be a tough season.

Goalkeeper may be excellent but he's not the one we have on a season long loan deal.

Very disappointing day yesterday for a couple of reasons ,firstly the match, I thought we was a little unlucky to go in at half time at 2-0 down as I thought we was causing a few problems at the end of the half. You could clearly see the difference in fitness but as Havent are training at least 4 times a week is it any surprise. I know the player's were gutted and hopefully a much better performance will be given next week. As I said to Steve Lovell after, that match won't define our season so we need to put it to bed and come out next week at PVR fighting

Im annoyed about this to say the least. I arrived in the press box and set up my equipment and started doing microphone test which was causing problems , when we managed to get things finally sorted and was ready to go live in 10 minutes I was stopped. The reason given was that Havent dont want streaming or Broadcasting so that fans actually go to the game and that an email was sent to Welling, I explained that it was Radio commentary for our fans back home but they wasn't having it so unfortunately that was that. A bit of lack of communication maybe but im still annoyed that it happened the way it did as obviously I wanted our fans to tune in.

That's disappointing, but it is what it is and least your having a go and making the games and club via the podcasts more accessible.
Despite this result looking forward to the return to PVR. I really hope Lovell and his squad can be competitive in the league and we aren't just a copy and paste from last season.

No idea if they are running Hawks Radio this season but if they are I hope we tell them the same.
