Nigel has told me what happened and its not his fault, but it's about as stupid as it gets and unfortunately that is now the normality of the club.
You don't just rock up to a club and expect it to be OK, someone should be in contact with the opposing team during the week even as a courtesy call at minimum to check that it is OK.
As for the twitter today, absolutely ridiculous. 82 clubs below us have done better and carry on doing so, all no doubt run by volunteers before anyone wants to go down that channel. Ours has 17k followers and I've seen Sunday league teams do better. New season, same old #### to kick off with.

There is no way that our squad and management turn up to another teams ground on a match day without some sort of communication between the two clubs beforehand. So no reason the conversation couldn't be had then.
