Don't forget to thank Hugo on the way out. I know MG was keen we show our appreciation for helping out. Also, can we stop putting #AllInThisTogether on the socials especially when it's informing that were getting thrashed?

Totally out played from second one. Literally! Lets face it we wont meet a better team this season. As much as it hurts to say they are very good. A tad better than the team SK put together at Welling a couple of pandemics ago. Men against boys. Very very painful day. Good luck to whoever takes over as manager. Im off to get wankered now.

Firstly Dirtford are so far ahead of us it is frightening, secondly it is clear that money talks. I left after 5-0 as I couldnt stand any more. In all the years I have supported Welling United FC this must be the low point for both me and the Club. If Mr G (and Mr Lovell before him) think we have a competitive squad then they are living in cloud cuckoo land. I think we may be having Mr G and Hugo in the dugout for some time to come as, how we are at the moment, unless anyone wants the ultimate challenge nobody is likely to take on the Managers role. It comes to something when our new signing comes on after 10 mins and is substituted at half time, that says it all.

I think we started with a back three. Once their 7 skinned OKeefe about 4 times Hugo & MG Changed it. Then we subbed the sub for Che who should of been on from the start. Che was the only player today who showed some composure and craft IMO.

That's the worst I have ever seen from a welling team. Shouldn't have bothered turning up. Goldberg lies "were give it some" sic. Either they aren't anywhere good enough for national South or they aren't managed properly. I suspect the former

Neil Smith or Peter Taylor then.

Both meant to be there today, but did both stay to the end?

I was hoping for a 4-0 defeat. How sad is that? walked out at 5-0 only because I got chatting at 4-0 and another goal slipped in. Totally woeful. Big changes required

Neil Smith in the bar well after the game had finished.

Peter Taylor left 20 mins before the end I'm led to believe.

What can you say about today? Just shocking! Pre match I said that the players needed to give a shift and I don't think many of them did. Still quite numb to say much more really, things are about as bad as they can get.

Possibly because we are at the point for some of us where supprt is earned and not blindly given. Sometimes ridicule gets more response than anger. I can guess which King was not in the altogether today...

Let's face it, MG put all of this squad together. The last time he was involved in doing so was also a disaster until it got changed up, the man does not learn.

Dreadful performance. The subs just summed up the fact that our bench, including the great Hugo are clueless. If he plays any part in the new management I might have to send back my season ticket. I would say the same about Goldberg but I'm resigned to him interfering in the team - at least the new manger must accept that is inevitable now at PVR.

If Dartford had wanted to they could have won 10 nil.

I'm not sure that getting rid of the whole team and starting again will work but we certainly need a couple of additions, starting at centre back.

We need a manger who understands this level of football, has good contacts and can work with limited players in a relegation battle. I think that rules out Peter Taylor.

That was the worst performance and result I have experienced in 30 years of following the club.

My League interest was Southend where Taylor did a stint in the nineties. The run he had there culminated in him trying his 'lucky suit' to get things moving and the away support chanting 'we want six' at 5-0 down in the League Cup at Derby when in the same division.

Doesn't  strike me as an improvement on the current scenario...

You don't need to go that far back with Taylor, Dagenham, Kerala blasters (where they are from I don't know) and England u20 have all resulted in being relieved of duties due to poor performances. The talent he had at his disposal with England u20 at the time was ridiculous and they came bottom of their world Cup group that consisted of Iraq, Chile and Egypt!

Just listened to Radio wings interview with MG, its embarrassing. Begging for sympathy, basically pleading for a new owner (which yea it's what we want) but nobody is going to give the man the money he wants knowing he's that desperate to go. And then saying the club is in a good position!!! He's delusional.
On the playing side, ok you don't want to be manager, but you don't have to say it 20 times, what confidence does that give to a player? If you had a manager at work who didn't want to manage you then you would probably perform in a similar manner as to what the team did today!
Rearranging a fixture that we will lose so a potential new manager could see them play, brilliant, what a master class.
I'm sure a manager has never taken a job before having only seen players train or in friendlies....
Only man who gets sympathy there is MR Sutton for not being able to give him both barrels in such a setting.
The only saving grace about being so embarrassed by them today is actually this could finally be the beginning of the end.

Despite having a season ticket from previous years I have refused to give Goldberg any more money & attend any games since I got blocked by the clubs Twitter account for politely mentioning the ticket prices were expensive compared to other lower league clubs, it really is desperately sad to see Welling in the state its in right now. Hope Goldberg ****s off soon but cant see it happening, doesnt take a genius to work out he loves the limelight too much.

So sad that at this early stage of the season Im already thinking we will be relegated, also sad to say I dont think MG will be that bothered, his main interest is the big bucks hell get from the development. when we go down his budget might even be good enough for us to compete.

Solutions? I honestly dont believe a new manager will make much difference without a few new players and a more flexible budget. If Welling are going to survive in the NLSouth urgent action is needed. Im sorry to say I cant see MG doing whats required.

At least the season ticket will be cheaper next year!

Goldbergs comment about playing Oxford so that potential managers can watch us to decide if they want the job is absolutely pathetic. Advertise the vacany on the website and interview the candidates. Make clear that anyone who will not be 100% committed to Welling United Football Club and working within our budget whilst inheriting the current playing squad need not apply.

Mark Goldberg has no control over who gets blocked on Twitter.

Which raises the question of who is setting that policy?

I can't and won't give the guy a penny of my hard earned cash. When I do resume going to games this season, they will be away games. If you want action to remove owners in football, you have to hit them in the pockets. Sadly no amount of conversations, fans evenings etc are going to make any difference. Take an already desperate situation and make it worse. If the club ever went into administration someone would come along and save it - even if it meant being docked points and taking a relegation. One thing that won't work is bailing out an incompetent owner time and time again

No money from me I'm afraid - if you haven't got it yourself, it means the club isn't worth anything - so sell it for a pound, cut your losses and leave.

Steve Lovell scouted dartford last week, did he take his report with him because we certainly didnt know how to play against them. A tactical substitute after ten minutes means they screwed up and didnt have a clue what they were doing.

Absolutely correct and I agree 100%, I may go to a few away games but I wont pay a penny into the club while this joker is at the helm.

Hes been laughing at the hardcore Welling supporters, taking advantage of their love for the club and running it like an unregistered charity whether that be asking for handouts/bail out, getting free or cut price labour and giving zero ZERO in return.

Mark Goldberg is asking ridiculous money to sell the club and walk away, if it takes going to the brink and rebuilding from scratch to get rid of him then so be it, we must be prepared for that.

He has destroyed the club, he has set the club back 30 years and when we are relegated itll be the lowest level of football Welling United have played in my lifetime.

We have a hopeless, useless, uncommitted and embarrassing squad of players, no direction, no real and genuine plan to change course and turn around this slump which is the culmination of years of underfunding, bullsh1t and egotistical pea****ing whilst surrounded by bum lickers and yes men.

Get rid of the whole lot, everybody involved and/or enabling whats going on is to blameyou are a disgrace to the club.

The meet Mark Goldberg thing is in my opinion an utter waste of time.  He will spout the same preprepared ****e to people who wont confront him or call him out (already the calls of keep it clean and calm indicate this otherwuse he wont do it againwho cares??? Lets hope he isnt there to be able to do it again).
He needs calling out, held to account, we deserve answers and deserve the opportunity to tell him this current **** show is unacceptable, that the buck stops with him and to get out of our club ASAP.
