Sad news today about the passing of former wing Paul Linger, who passed away after a long battle with illness.

Paul Linger, what a very good player you were. I remember, unless I'm old and forgetful, away to Bristol Rovers in the FA Cup you getting a torrent of abuse from a coach or manager for something minor you hadn't done, but I remember the brilliant performances you put in as a whole in your short time with us. Well played that man.

Sad news indeed and a scandalous age to pass away.

God bless Paul and our thoughts are with his family & friends at this terrible time.
