Thought the team deserved something out of the game today, for the shift they put in, having said that Dartfords 3 & 4 goal were good well struck goals.
Decent play from us in the first half and a few spells in the second. What a feeling to go in front twice but you sort of knew it wouldnt last. You only have to look at Dartford at home, Ebbsfleet away earlier in the season to see we are fitter and have improved in several areas but we still need points. We cant bank on any games and need to tighten up on sloppy defending.
After watching the highlights can't have too many complaints, yea we looked better in spells but seeing the goals conceded back and from a different angle we didn't make it difficult for them. 1st goal poor, heard some blame the keeper but easily blame 3 players. 2nd goal to easy down the left, ball split 3 of our players then the cross goes passed another 3. 3rd goal, not a bad strike tad lucky but no pressure on him and maybe sims will be disappointed and then 4th goal again decent strike but how has the ball got there that easily in first place. One thing that is quite obvious is Olu needs a break, for whatever reason tiredness etc he just not at the races and I wouldn't start him against Chippenham. Game bypassed him not for the first time recently, half heartedly sticking a leg out and this thing he does where he crouches down in front of players I don't get, it means his feet are planted and ball/player just breeze past him and he's playing catch up. Dipo on the otherhand was unreal, plus he got more support in wide areas which helped a lot.
As I side note - if you watch the highlights from Dartford can anyone clarify what the announcer says before reading out our starting 11? It's not quite clear enough on the highlights to say 100% what he says.

"For those of you that missed the teams the first time around..."

Agree about the first three goals, especially the first one where the goalkeeper had every right to expect the defence to deal with it. The fourth goal was as a result of us taking off a defender and bringing on a striker meaning that we were stretched at the back.
