I suppose there are always two sides to every story.
This is a Welling United forum and I'm merely asking a question regarding the club you're a Director of. I am asking for MGs side of things on the above information received from the Council within the last 30 days. I imagine you might be aware of the answers in your capacity as a club Director. I would have hoped as a fan of many decades, and a Director, my concerns would be shared by you.
On other private matters involving myself, another individual and another company, well, anyone that wants to ask me for my side of the story on that and for any events involving me is more than welcome to, and they'll be given a full and honest assessment of things from my side of the fence. Anyone with an opposing view is welcome to throw theirs in to the mix.
It's never wise to assume things. Both sides of the fence should be considered before making judgement. I'm sure MG, or any other club Director, would be more than able to re-assure me and the other fans of Welling Untied, just what the truth might be.
Mr MG sir ... would love to hear your side of the story ...
Even though there has not been an application to the council, not sure MG ever said a planning application had been submitted?
Think it was only plans, and there had been informal discussions with the council.
But in fairness to the original poster, it was a number of years ago, and even the building materials for the job will have doubled in price, so costs might need reviewed for the ground redevelopment.
Is there anyone on the forum who has better information ? Can anyone set the record straight?
No im being serious, I think its important that if the club is taken over or new people come on board to join the existing ownership that supporters know of plans whether that be ground development, players coming in etc etc.
