Couple of things,

Not sure what Taylor gains from this? Maybe his ego was dented? I dont believe he ever had a particular passion for managing the is football club but he will probably argue this otherwise.

The football Club needs to address this new investor news with the positivity it is. No names need to be mentioned but this should be seen as good news and the club should try to promote how this  this new investment can help take the club forward both on and off the pitch.

Totally agree re investor announcement. Regarding the article, it's the Daily Mail so would take it with a pinch of salt

So the chairman signed players that the manager didn't want.... then sacked him when he questioned it?
Or Taylor was not getting results, that might have been the case.

If the Chairman signed players that the manager didn't want then its totally out of order. However we needed new defenders and the chances and goal that Bath scored from set pieces were evidence enough that Taylor needed to be sacked.

There has been a lot of talk since Peter Taylor left with a lot of people saying that he should have been replaced much sooner (myself included). What done for Peter Taylor at the end was the fact that he was literally given an open cheque book to go out and sign the players to hopefully get us out of this situation but he refused. As we can all see the budget has been significantly increased hence the amount of players that have recently signed so that to me shows how committed the powers that be are to keep us in this league. We have some really tough game's coming up especially at PVR so I say let's all get behind Warren Feeney and give the club/team the support in these remaining matches

Smacks of unsustainable panic!

Unless we do have new investors then next year will be the same but with 4 going down

Too true if Tonbridge find out we have just signed John Terry and Frank Lampard they might change their line up for tomorrow.
