Bring back Peter Taylor I do not even recognise this team, so many new players making zero impact. At least when we was getting battered under Taylor I knew who the players were

Where do we start?
Gates open at turnstiles allowing anyone to walk in for free
Inability to sell beer
Team that looks so disjointed.
Dipo looks lost on the wing.
Started so brightly, gave me genuine hope.
Get a goal up and allow Ebbsfleet to walk the ball to the halfway line.
F%uck me, that is exactly what we done under Taylor to no avail.
I am no entrepreneur by any shot, but forgetting the football, those poncy cars would have been stuck elsewhere and I would have had it off with some sort of beer marquee and the grand national.

Do you mean where the car wash should be?
Except the only thing that's been rinsed, is our club.

We are down. Disastrous leadership from top down has ruined us and that started and the spiral has continued from when MG took charge of the team for 2nd time.
Two games in a row I've walked in for free (which I did to make a point) both times going down the other end to pay from the wrong side of the turnstile. The first time I did it a few weeks back I alerted the person who looked like they were in charge of operations but seemed put out when I told him, he then radioed through to someone to close the gates who obviously couldn't get there straight away. So instead of taking a short walk to close them himself he carried on chatting to a mate. I then watched a good few walk in and not pay - hats off to them. The club is not a club, the team is not a team, the management cannot manage, the bar struggles to sell beer in a reasonable time, the community interest company has little regard for its community and the stadium is not a stadium - it's a place to stand in the rain around some broken down fences, skips, dumped fruit machines and hazard tape.
I don't get to as many games as I'd like, but supporting Welling for me is getting harder and harder because it is so depressing. Losing a match is one thing, not being able to properly host a match is...killing Welling very slowly.
Have not clicked the link of Warrens comment. My comments are. CLUELESS. HOPELESS. POINTLESS. Absolutely dreadful. Come back Peter Taylor. Lets save the Marriott hotel bill and get Wingnut to take over. He cant do any worse. Sad sad times.
To play 3 strikers in a 4312 formation was absolute madness it was far too easy for webbed feet to rip through us. If we carry on playing like that we will be thrased every game for the rest of the season.
We need to grind out a couple of draws from our forthcoming games and then hopefully we'll play a Maidstone side who have just won the title and a Concord side with nothing to play for.
Those at the top also need to start preparing for next season. We'll need a manager in place as soon as possible because if we go down, starting again with a new manager and a new squad of players will not be easy.

Thank you I think...?!
A very tough day at the office again yesterday again and, yet again, a lot of the problems self inflicted.
I should say that Gravesend & Northfleet are a good side and really as a full time outfit should be nearer the top than they are. However they have lost a number of away games this season and can be flaky as they showed in the first half. The first goal we conceded was poor and once again we fell apart. They nearly scored again from the restart and for 10 minutes we did just about everything wrong culminating in a stupid challenge for the penalty. We have now lost 6 league games this season after going in front and 4 of those by more than one goal. The personnel may change but the simple decision making is still missing. Still all to play for at half time and then we concede in the opening stages of the second half and it's game over....
I think the current manager has been given a real hospital pass. There may be some good players in this squad but by the time they start playing as a team our ship will have sailed. However I can't for the life of me understand some of the selections yesterday. We played three in midfield, none of which were a defensive minded player. We have one striker who since Christmas has been on a very good scoring run in a poor side and yet he gets shunted out to the wing for two players who are either unfit, disinterested or, quite possibly, both. The effort was better than against Tonbridge but that is not exactly a ringing endorsement.
I think the fat lady is clearing her throat and I can't quite work out if I am more angry or sad or probably both.

Brilliantly put that. The owner (or whatever he is now), the accountant, they deserve relegation. It always starts from the top and works down onto the pitch.

Whats disappointing is many of us probably aren't qualified football coaches neither well equipped to run a business/football club but there are so many clear things both in respect of the playing and commercial or ground aspects that we're all highlighting week in week out. It does make you think what is the reality, perogative and end game to mgs/investors tenure? It certainly doesn't seem to be in the interests of the club or community overall.
Don't expect to see welling win each week. I've never followed a "glory" side but I do want to see a competitive side in a setting fit for the level of football.
I dont know what the new investor gets out of this, he wastes a load of money on a relegated team. Maybe his hanger on mates in the upstairs bar feed his ego.
