It's the way we played in the National League under Day in the second season and was quite effective. If we had gone one up early today they would have just smashed us as Ebbsfleet did.

We've got worse since Taylor left. We've replaced an experienced mangaer for an inexperienced one looky scruffy wearing a hoodie and generally looking uninterested. Weve replaced a goalkeeper who made the odd mistake with a loanee 4 years younger whos not as good. We have replaced an experienced holding midfielder and left back/ left wing with what exactly? Alfie Matthews whos never made a senior football appearance before playing for us. Hes completely naive and not what we nedd at this stage of the season. Bradbury is useless, he should never play for the club again, just settle his contract and let him go.

And the tactics today were so clueless it should be enough to see the club settle his hotel bill and call this farce a day. Dorking are smashing teams to pieces, we should be lining up with 11 men behind the ball trying to nick a point not starting with 4 strikers.

so lining up with 11 men behind the ball is the answer? Do me a favour.

we took the game to them for the first 20 mins and looked quite tidy. You think letting them walk the ball to the half way line would have resulted any differently?
Get a grip FFS.

I'm all for positive tactics and taking the game to opposition but you have to ask why do we only keep up for first quarter of the game and clearly the players don't suit how he sets up.  Not solely his fault but we will go down under feeney, guy wasn't and isn't the right appointment.

Shokunbi & Barnes not at same levels they were under Taylor

Stevenson, Bradbury, Derry, Pearce and on todays showing Matthews not good enough for this level.

Is it a case of them not being good enough or not giving 100% or the manager setting them up badly...my guess is a bit of all of those

Looks like its good news on the Ricky forum, seems most feel he should have gone ages ago.

Smacks of desperation, bit like the current club that is second from bottom and the tactics currently being employed

We will need a new manager next season anyway whatever league we are in. We may as well get that person in now. Alan Dowse who took Woking up is available.

He wouldn't be dropping down a league as he's unemployed.
