Did say we'd stay up..... didn't expect it would be so close.

Something needs to change next year, we can't have this again. Today should have been celebrating a play off berth or promotion!

really dont understand where youre getting this from...

Massively short budget, a manager revolving door. And a shoe string squad.

CELEBRATE THE DAY.

 YEP CELEBRATING NOT GETTING RELEGATED!

The result is superb, the manager has worked wonders with the results over the past few weeks, coming back from 3 down to get that 3-3 shows the desire.... can't fault any of that. Hope it's play offs next time!!!

Glad it was only 1 down...next year it is 4

Lots to do to even compete....money thrown at the last 5 weeks...we need stability....investment in team and ground which apparently we have although heard that before

Celebrate getting out of jail but hopefully the planning...ground improvements start now

Out from the woodwork to congratulate the current financiers, management and players on achieving this one almighty Houdini act. Who knows, once the realistic plans for the future become clear and apparent, I may even return to support. Until then - GOLDBERG out.

Tough day in terms of what we expected to achieve. Didnt expect the result but glad we were safe. Feel a little bit for billy as to where they were a few years ago ala Tamplin and to now see it all demolish

Talked to a couple of Maidstone fans on the way back did the pleasantries and one said would we want to be in the same next season ie struggling and being down at the bottom all season. Or be relegated be competitive and be up there in a positive position

Im ignoring budgets and who can we can have/ not have interms of players but its an interesting point

Personally I feel weve been in the relegation zone all season and may have got what we deserved. In some ways and I know the league below is not easy it may have been easier to have been relegated and regroup

Absolutely not....the league below would be very hard to get out of ....also when you say regroup we seem to do that every year and next year will be the same...it will all depend on

1. New manager

2. Good recruitment...we will probably need a whole new squad

3. The budget

4. Whether we pass any ground grading

Great win. Obviously cant forget what we have watched this season at times but our form the last 6 or 7 games has been pretty good. Enjoy tonight and next Saturday and rebuild, literally all the place.
Really did not think we would get out of it but the Havant home game was the hope.

Hasn't Warren Feeney earned a shot at it?

All that time wasted on how  to get to Brightlingsea. Bradbury was worth every penny based on what he did today. And how much has Chi improved

Yes of course Warren deserves a crack at it but he lives in a hotel ...so would have to move and I thought he was looking higher up

If he can commit then yes

I spoke to Chi after the game and congratulated him on his performance over the past few games. Deserved MOTM today. What a difference.

Great result, it's not been perfect but the new manager has come in and done what was asked. Hopefully with new people around the club can forget about this season and start to build, a few years in mid table obscurity will do whilst the structure of the club is sorted out.

For me no.  Grateful we've stayed up.  However don't think we've been any better if not worse from when Taylor was In charge.

Goldbergs gamble that there would be one worse team than us paid off. But only just. Please do not tempt fate again.
I would have Brad Quinton back. Give him a budget to work with this time.

Wow....what an afternoon...myself and my liver are still trying to recover!

One of the best atmospheres at PVR for some considerable time. A huge away turnout and nice to seem some Welling yoof helping to generate the atmosphere - we could have done without the pitch invasion from both sides but somehow that felt inevitable and we need to get more of the youngsters through the turnstiles at PVR week on week.

At half past four on Saturday I thought we were down and yet by 5 o'clock on Monday we are staying up...?! When Dipo went off I feared the worst but credit to players and management for fighting and going on to win the game. Yes Maidstone had nothing to play for and might have been out celebrating but they certainly didn't lay down and make it easy for us.

One game to go and we can all go and enjoy ourselves for that one. But this time next week, when the euphoria has died down, we need to hit the reset button and make some huge changes on and off the pitch.

An added delight from Monday was the fact we prevented Maidstone doing the clean sweep of Kent derbies.

(I'm adding this fact to my celebrations for Saturday.)
